I did not know much of this until I met an HP rep at the best buy by my house. It is honestly the best thing HP has ever invented. the program is beyond easy. I do not have to call anyone or go out of my way to order new cartridges, as my printer automatically send the information over to HP when my ink is low, and they ship it in a few days - FREE! I am on the $2.99 plan as I do not use my printer all the time. If you do the math, you will see how much you actually save. I am use to spending a good $60 on ink/cartridges. I definitely recommend it to everyone, including the skeptics like me!

What a great idea to have the ink set up based upon your usage!!! I love that it is set to automatically deliver based on need... With prices for ink being outrageous and always happening at the most inopportune times, what a great concept to not have to worry about running out!!! Since this is a new concept and my first time, I'll have to see (in time) if the benefits outway the cost!!!

The HP Instant Ink exceeded my expectations. I am currently on the 6-month free trial; however, I will still pay for the added service of instant ink delivery. I love that ink is in on the day way before my HP printer is completed out, way to go, HP for an awesome service.

I like being on the Instant Ink program. It feels good to have a back-up box of cartridges. My last printer would run out of ink and I wouldn't have the money to replace the cartridges right away, so it would sit and gather dust. With Instant Ink, I feel better knowing that ink will be sent directly to me, no store visit or extra purchase required. And the printer stays clean and in use. My only warning: If you subscribe to any Printables, make sure you measure them against your monthly page-count. I have a few subscriptions because I think it's fun, but I can see how this service could potentially burn through your pages faster than your monthly ink subscription can keep up. Overall, I think I've struck a great balance between the two.

I like the program. I think in the long run it will save money but I dont like that it keeps track of amount of copies then charges if you ho over. It should be level of ink period. Its also not easy to keep track of number of copies when you are printing on different devices. I have already had to move my monthly subscription up due to limit. Sadly it doesnt take into account mess up etc. So you may end up printing more than you thought. As for would I recommend to a friend they should have an unsure choice.

The HP Instant Ink program appears to be a real money saver. I started withe the 50 page per mo plan for $2.99 per mo but I get an extra 3 months for signing up. I will end up going to the 100 page per mo plan for $4.99 per mo after the first 4 months (during which I can print 300 pages per mo) HP tracks my pages and ink levels thru the Wi-Fi connection and send any ink cartridges I need to my home well before I run out. My ink cost for 1200 pages per year will be $59.88, way less than the cost of buying cartridges. You are only charged for pages printed, not ink and the unused pages carry forward to the next month.

I had some doubts about whether this program was really cost efficient but I am convinced it was a good decision. I had a couple of projects to complete last month and went over my max the first week. I only had to go online and change the program limits for the month and then change it back when the projects were completed. Convenience is the best feature. Ink was sent BEFORE I needed it, which was wonderful at midnight when I had to replace a cartridge. I like not having to worry about ordering or going to the office supply store.

MoreINKPLEASE! You can't beat this deal. I am tired of going to the store at midnight to spend $80 in ink. It is all about convenience and HP has figured it out. The price is way less than you would spend on ink in a store and include your time and gas money. You know your ink always runs out when you need to print the most so if you have time to stop printing and drive to the store and walk the isles for ink then pick me up a ream of paper and pack of cookies while you are at it. Work smarter not Harder

Total cost for 1 year of participation is less than the cost of buying 1 black cartridge and 1 color cartridge. The best part is you have to do nothing., just use your printer and HP does the rest. Never run out of ink again.

I am a very loyal HP printer customer and needed to replace an older HP printer. I was looking for something that I could print from my smartphone as well as my computer. The ease of printing from anywhere in the world or house, printing Bluetooth, and being wireless. The HP OfficeJet 4630 meets all of those needs. I rarely do any faxing, having the option is helpful, but scanning was critical for me. I like to scan documents to my computer and/or my phone. The quality is excellent and I can print anything on this machine. This printer is great for home or office use. A bonus for me was the automatic document feeder (ADF). Most of the time finding this on an HP printer for less than $100 is extremely rare. Whether I am copying or scanning, ADF is so much easier and I don't have to hover around the printer. I have found over the years, OfficeJet machines will outlast the other types of HP printers and it is a work horse. As long as you maintain and take care of the printer (i.e. cover it with a light weight towel when not in use daily to cut down on dust buildup, cleaning with an anti-static cleaner weekly, etc.), your HP printer will last many years.

This program is perfect for me. With my old Epson printer, I was running out of ink at least once per month and would always forget to pick it up while shopping. Insta-ink has been awesome. They send the ink right to my door without me having to order it. I never run out. I signed up for the $9.99 plan. It use to cost me 3x as much or more every month. Now, I literally don't even have to worry about it. My printer takes care of it for me.

Personally I hate buying ink. It's expensive, you don't get alot and with some printers you have to buy 4 cartridges. When the best buy worked told us to get this HP monthly thing I laughed inside my head thinking "Yeah right, $10 for a months worth of ink at a time!". Sounded BEYOND impossible considering ONE ink cartridge itself is like $25-$45. But I read the card and thought it still seemed t good to be true. But I bought it anyways because the people there have always been honest with me. I got home and registered everything. They were right, it IS that cheap every month! Now I should point out how it works just so you understand. First, your HP printer has to be compatible with the program. Ours was a Officejet Pro 8710. From what there are only 4 models that this works with (future ones should be using the program though). Basically you register with HP and it automatically monitors your ink levels. When your levels are low you get sent new ink through the mail (quickly too). And they send you an envelope to return the old ink cartridges. Only if you want to though, its optional. We chose the $10 plan (there are varied price plans. In our case 300 pages per month. If we print more than 300 allotted pages worth of ink, we are charged $1 per 25 pages on the our plan. If we don't use up all the pages in a month, they roll over up to a month's worth of pages to apply to pages in excess of your monthly allotment. Also this isn't a contract so you can cancel at any time. So far its been working out great! And according to HP we save $672 a year (if we bought all ink as we needed it). Definitely buy, just make sure you have an idea of how many pages you print a month. We run a ministry out of our home so this saves us alot of money.

We just bought a professional HP Printer for basic home use, and decided to give Instank Ink a try. Wow! This program saves us so much money! The fact that I never have to buy ink EVER again? I'll take two! All it takes it a few simple steps on the Internet, and a few more steps on your printer, and you're all set! I had the entire program up and running in a matter of minutes. I'm really looking forward to be getting my Instant Ink cartridges in the mail!

I am still using the starting ink cartridges that came with my HP, but I signed up for the 300 pages and had ink at my door 2 weeks later. I was buying ink at over $30 for a color and B&W cartridge every 3 months, so I figured at $9.99 a month, this plan is equivalent, and is shipped to my door. I print college PowerPoints, so I feel like a 300 page a month allowance, with roll over, is a good deal. I've only had the printer a month, so we'll see!

I wasn't sure that I would like this service, but decided to try it out. Turns out that I am not spending any more money for ink than I was before (time will tell if I am actually saving money, which is a real possibility!) and I love the fact that they always send ink before I run out! No more midnight runs to the drug store for ink cartridges!!

I do recommend this. I do a decent amount of printing and I never have to worry about running out of ink and the price is much lower than the stores so I have it now for my office and my home.

I recently bought the printer, but purchased it with the intention of using the Hp Insta Ink program. I'm still using the ink that came with the printer but signed up with Insta ink. It was an easy process and I've already received the cartridges. Looking forward to using this as I have heard many great things about it. "Never run out of ink!"

I think this program is a game changer for ink-jet printers. I appreciate that I pay per page printed. It doesn't cost me money when I have to use ink to clean print heads or perform other maintenance tasks. If I don't print often and my ink dries up, it doesn't cost me extra. I only pay for the pages I print. I just wish they had a plan that was larger than 300 pages per month.

This program is an excellent way to keep up with your ink usage. There is an app that tells how much ink is left and when it gets low HP sends new cartridges right to your door. There are different levels of usages and the price is very reasonable. If you do not use all of your print usage, it carries over to the next month. This program was one of the reasons why we bought the new computer. I would definitely recommend this program.

This program is "Superior". You don´t have to do Anything to have always cartridges (both). Printer informs to HP how many pages You has printed, and they ship to you the cartridge You need. The cartridges are "bigger" than regular size, even XL. And for $10 a month, You save money in a short time. A page counts if You print a Letter size sheet or 4 x 6 inch photo, Draft or Good Quality. No Matters !!!!!
