Really great! Was having trouble choosing this and the smaller model. Im glad I went with the 6 quart! Makes lot of meals (good for big family) while not taking up too much counter space. Works as advertised.

Bought this product on recommendation from a friend. Very satisfied with the Insta Pot. Have used for a large pork roast and beef roast. Both came out 'fall off the bone' tender. We seasoned both, and the flavor was excellent. Also an excellent time saver. Instead of using a slow cooker, the Insta Pot only took 1.5 hours. Also very easy to clean. Going to cook some rice next.

I received the 8 quart Instant Pot as a gift. It worked well, however it was just TOO BIG! I returned the 8 quart and I purchased this one. It's amazing the difference 2 quarts can make. This 6 quart is just right. It fits on my countertop without being too obtrusive. The only reason for the 4 stars it that the stainless steel pot insert allows food to stick, so I purchased the Instant Pot's nonstick pot insert.

Never did I imagine a machine preform so efficient and quick. Doing a Meal that would take over an hour just took 20 minutes. Easy and convenient once you understand recipe and settings . So easy to impress guest when you have little time to do prepare and serve. Plus clean up is great! Definitely a must have in every kitchen!

A good conventional pressure cooker would probably be better and faster, especially at browning food at the start since the shape of the liner is kind of weird and the power of the element although sufficient, is not as versatile as a stove top (it's better to brown meat in smaller batches). That said; I think the ease of use and versatility that you get with the instant pot is worth it. If you are serious foodie you'd probably be better off investing in a conventional pressure cooker and learning how to use it. If you're just a casual cook, the level of recipies that become within your reach are exponentially increased without increasing the difficulty of executing said recipies.

This cooker is exactly as advertised. My wife tried it a couple times and it is a real time saver. We tried pot roast and it came out better than using a crockpot. Now the crockpot is going to Goodwill.

This is my first pressure cooker ever owned. I've heard they can take some getting used to and the directions are complicated. While there is more to look at and take note if, operation is not difficult and it's a sleek looking machine. They come in a variety of sizes. I own the mid size and I'm pleased with it!

This is by far one of the best things I have purchased. I was a little skeptic but I am hooked! Super easy. Haven't tried all the functions but the slow cooker, rice, and stew have just been spot on! Anyone looking to replace quite a few of your kitchen gadgets this would be the way to go.
