Im a BBQ guy. I rarely cook in the house and thought id never use an instant pot after having this i realize how great it is to throw a quick meal together. Especially when your working and have kids to feed when you get home.

I’ve had a Ninja Foodi 9-in-1 for about a year and a half and have loved it. We forgot the pressure lid when we went on vacation but I really wanted to make a meal in it so I decided to buy this. It’s perfect for pressure cooking. I love my Foodi but the InstantPot is lighter which makes it perfect to use when I just want to pressure cook. I did pick up in store and it was ready within an hour. Overall, I love it!

It’s little big and heavy. I wish I bought the 6 oz and not 8oz. It built well, quality material.

At first, this was sitting in the closet for months. But then we started using it and saw how versatile it is. Definitely worth it especially if you make time-consuming dishes with meat such as curries and soups.

This model is very easy to use and has several pre-set buttons including yogurt and sous vide, but no steam button. It has the new quick release switch feature, comes with an extra seal, trivet, and silicone stoppers inside the machine to minimize spinning of the inner pot. This model shows the progress of preheating, etc. The inner pot cleans easily after using the saute mode if you add water and detergent to it while hot, but, does mark easily so use silicone, wood, or plastic to stir fry.

Daily one time we use it to make lunch and this instant pod is a my wife’s secret weapon for urgent n best cooking

Have never used a pressure cooker in 15 years as much as I have used this in the past month. It’s so easy and idiot proof. Trust me I should know. Make sure you get one big enough or you’ll regret it later. Very happy with my 8qt. So many accessories for this thing. Highly recommend the steamer baskets and non stick insert pot.

I waited awhile before I got my Instant Pot 8qt Duo Plus Electric Pressure Cooker, but I wanted to make sure I wanted just one more kitchen appliance for cooking. I'm glad I decided to get this one after many that I looked at. I am 72 years old so I don't cook like I use to but I do have a few recipe's handed down from the years. This one works great and with no concerns about it blowing up. I remember the days of mom's noodles sticking to the ceiling. Whoops! :-) It took awhile to learn how much water was not enough or to much but its been great.

This is our second Instant Pot our other is the 6-quart model. Many times we need a bigger one depending on who was eating with us for dinner. The 6-quart was fine for my husband, the grand-kids and I , but if more adults were eating it really was not big enough. The 8-quart is sufficient for now, but we will probably need to upgrade tot the -quart once the small grandkids are in their teens. Have no complaints with the purchase other than the glass lid was not included and had to be purchased separately.

Very easy to use. The pressure cooker is much more energy efficient than the stove top version that I’ve used. It holds the temperature so when it comes up to pressure, you never see steam coming out.

Instant Pot Duo Plus is a great product! You can use as a pressure cooker, rice cooker, warmer, and many other uses.

Bought the instant pot around Thanksgiving and been using it since then . It is easy to use, cuts cooking time and the meals come out delicious.

Great appliance. Every kitchen should have one. Cooks meat tender, fall off the bone ribs. Wish I would have purchased earlier.

This is a product that exceeded the hype. It does what it says and does it very well. The instructions could be more explicit as some of the functions such as time have multiple values depending on what one is doing with the instant pot but other that that it cooks well, minimizes energy use and heating of the kitchen when used. Great especially as I writing the review during a heat wave.

I absolutely LOVE my new pressure cooker! I made some oxtails which normally take hours using multiple pots in one pot and it took a mere hour and a half. Came out perfectly!
