    1/5 - for defective product. Wouldnt fire-up straight out of the box. 5/5 for best buy ease of return.

    It’s good it’s economical. It will save you money instead of buying very expensive pods. The only thing is I don’t really notice a creamy froth when making the espresso or making the regular coffee and it’s always not very hot coffee but it gets the job done.

    Brewing Temps Too Low For Best Coffee

    Fantastic that it does all three variations...especially the Nespresso...but I'll wait till they get the brewing temperatures high enough for better coffee (195-205°F). Hint: warm the water first...increased brew temp 20°F on one review (140°F - 160°F). IF they were using the thermometer correctly. Hint 2: Lower brewing temps equals less bitterness, just less flavor. Probably why they designed it that way...not the best grounds or certainly not the freshest coffee in most pods

    I bought the Duo last Black Friday, 2023. It is loud, a bit big, and theres a strong plastic smell/taste that lingers for a while at first, but overall I was enjoying the options of the Duo. However, It died in March 2024. Was still under warranty and replacement was easy. Then the replacement died this October 2024. Was still under warranty, and was replaced again, although that process took much longer as I just received the replacement over a month later. We will see how long this one lasts. I’m buying a back up machine on Black Friday, but a different brand, for when this most recent Duo replacement dies, because if it follows the pattern, it will last 5 months and then die, and at that point will be out of warranty. Its too bad because i really loved the idea of both pods and capsules. I will enjoy the replacement Duo and who knows, maybe this one will last.

    Solid build quality

    My Keurig broke after a month. Wanted to try a different brand. Love it so far. K-cup in the morning, 2 Nespressos in the afternoon. Heats very fast. Solid and heavy build quality.

    I was happy in beginning but after a while I saw that it’s not working properly, some time put the capsule and the capsule went down, I was thinking I enter it wrong but that was not the case, I entered that right all the time but it failed and brew only water. If it was one time I could understand when it’s become several time a day it’s not tolerable.

    Unreliable machine and support won't actually help

    The k-cup side failed within 6 months of buying it. I opened a ticket with support and they had no clue how to diagnose/fix the issue and offered a free replacement. I took a little longer than I should have to accept the free offer, but support immediately rescinded it when I asked about it and just told me to buy a new one. I don't plan to purchase from this company again after this experience. If you do purchase, understand that this is a high maintenance machine. It clogs easily, it requires constant cleaning and support doesn't understand how it works in order to actually help you with anything beyond what it already says in the manual. Even with all that, expect the life-span (at least of the k-cup side) to be short-lived.

    My Instant™ Dual Pod Plus Coffee Maker failed after 11 months. The company sent me a replacement, that turned out to be defective right out of the box. They replaced it. However, the second replacement worked for 2 months and then failed as well (the espresso side failed in both replacements). Now, the issue happened after the original warranty expired. Because of that the company is no longer responsible for the product. Alas, the quality of the product is unacceptable and their quality control is non-existent. Save the money, avoid the company.

    Do not buy this! After light use, it leaks internally, sending your coffee into the Nespresso pod receptacle and from there, all over your counter. Instant Pot does not support the product and their only suggestion is to buy another unit.

    I ordered this product on Black Friday at a good price. Best Buy sent me a printer instead but wouldn't honor the Black Friday price when I returned their mistake shipment and requested the correct item. I was bamboozled! I'm done with Best Buy!
