We have been using this cooker since the end of December and it's great! Perfect for stews, but we have also been using it for cooking rice and vegetable dishes and it's easy to clean so far as well. Big size is a plus when you cook for a lot of people or need to cook a lot of food for the week.

This pot helped me make the juiciest chicken I have ever made in my life in under 30 minutes. I think it worked great, I have never cooked on a pressure cooker before but I’ve cooked chicken in the oven and on the stove and I can never get it right. With this the first time using it to make chicken and it exceeded my expectations. There was not a large learning curve. I did deduct a star because when the pot is supposed to be pressure cooking there wasn’t anything indicating that it was doing it. I only figured it did it when my chicken turned out cooked and instruction manual was also not clear. Otherwise good pot

Haven't used this too much, but everything I've cooked has come out exactly as expected. I don't have anything to compare this with, but it does produce short ribs as tender as my slow cooker, but in about a quarter of the time. This model is the size of a typical rice cooker, so may be bigger than you expect. Definitely can cook enough food for 4-6 people. Only knocks are the pieces that need to be washed each time: the rubber grommet, the steam valve, lid, etc. The slow cooker is pretty much the pot and lid.

We used to have a kitchen gadget for everything--pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker...you name it. When we heard about the Instapot, we thought this was the solution but it turned out to be better than we could have imagined. Not only is it multi-function as as stated but these very functions are adjustable so it allows both the beginning cook and the more advanced 'chef' the ease in th former and the flexibility required of the latter. In Instapot, there are various types--the Duo Nova struck this very perfect balance. If there is a con, so far, the only one is that it does not bring a manual with it or a cookbook. Both items, which are things that used to be packaged with electronics, are much needed. Having a client have to download and print shouldn't be required. Look forward to continued work to discover how many more appliances I can replace!

Love the new meals my wife makes in this unit. It works very well and is also very fast. The very fast is the extra bonus. It's actually easy to get used to using and there are many recipe books and information available online and in stores.

It’s a great upgrade to my kitchen and we are pretty much cooking our entire meal in instant pot. We previously had just a rice cooker and while we used to steam veggies, prepare rice - this pot can do these but much more for just few extra bucks you have to pay for it. It is a must for every kitchen and strongly advice it to beginners who are just learning to cook and trying new recipes during this unprecedented time.

lol, this thing has been awesome so far, I can not cook.... the instant pot cooks for me. For the price every male who is single should get one and learn a few recipes as it does all the work for you. I'm very happy with it and it being "almost" like a technology item its fun!

I love it. I researched pressure cookers for a while before purchasing and I'm glad I did. This is a good size for my family of 3. Makes meals in shorter time. Love the many options it comes with. It is definitely worth the counter space it takes up in my kitchen. :)

I bought this from my Daughter In-Law to help with getting dinners ready easier for them and a toddler. This thing has been used 3 times in 4 days and is so easy and makes everything perfect and easy

I haven't owned a pressure cooker in years. I have a crockpot but the no-stick finish has scratched and it was time for a change. My son raves about their multi-cooker so I did intensive research. My biggest concern was that it would be hard to use. NOT. There are hundreds of recipes on line as well as YouTubes. I started with a roast. Seared the meat in the pan, then added the broth, veggies, and potatoes. The fabulous homemade meal in less than an hour and clean up was easy. They said you could make pulled chicken from a package of frozen chicken breasts. Nearly 3 pounds of frozen chicken ready to pull in 14 minutes...By the way, use your hand or counter mixer for amazingly fast shredding - that tip was in one of the recipies. The meat was ready to use in a fraction of the normal time and no fork shredding. I highly recommend the Instant Pot.

You would have seen enough positive reviews about instant pots out there and I would say the same, great build quality, easy to use.. this is our second instant pot.. we use it on day to day basis and the cooked food never misses a bear..

This is my second instant pot and it works great. My first one worked great too but I melted the lid (my fault) and the cost of replacing the lid was absolutely ridiculous. Half the cost of buying a new one. But that’s a purchasing problem, not a product quality issue. I love making Umami French Dip, Roast Beef, soup, and so much more in this. The best part is that it cooks everything so much faster than a crock pot. My Roast Beef usually takes 7 hrs in the crock pot but it’s narrowed down to 2 from start to finish in the instant pot. A lot of recipes don’t account for release time or pressurizing time so just keep that in mind when making dinner. It can sometimes add 40 mins to a meal from start to finish. Otherwise it’s love it and would absolutely recommend it.

I purchased this for my sister-in-law, but I own one too. We love our Instant Pot Duo cooker!! I have a Crock Pot slow cooker that I used all of the time, but now I use the Instant Pot more, especially the pressure cooker. I don't know how I got along with out it. I love the many functions this multi cooker offers & have used several, but still have to try others, which I will eventually & I'm sure I will find them to be very helpful as well & I'll wonder how I managed without them too! LOL

Had a bad experience with Ultra a year ago, kept giving burn warning. Returned it. Now a year later this was on sale nearly half price...said it was a simpler updated, new model. I love it! I've made soups mostly, but plan on everything and anything because everything is so easy and fast with this. Steep learning curve, but buy a cookbook or get one from the library and you'll love cooking with this thing! Cooks dry beans to perfection so quickly! Just buy it! Comes with two silicone seals for the lid...I use one for savory...the other will use for sweet. Easy to take apart and clean after use. LOVE IT!

Perfect solution to spending less time preparing meals! I was hesitant at first to use the InstantPot, but after positive comments- I tried it. True to the comments, it’s as easy as pie! I love it.

We use it to make everything. Makes the best soups and rice and meats. This is my go to housewarming gift. Nightly recommend. Good size for our small family. They should make a bigger size one for a larger family

After a lot of deliberation to chose between instapot and regular pressure cooker, I bought this instapot and I am very happy with my decision. This is really good and makes cooking a lot faster and easier

I got it as a birthday present for my father and he loves it. He only uses about 2 or 3 of the features, but he uses it 3 or 4 times a week. He seems very happy with the gift.
