    Really no reason to go i7 or i9 if you are only gaming. This CPU packs enough performance for gaming. The only issue is that you need a good cooler. This puppy runs hot! Even with the CORSAIR - iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU Cooler, it runs hotter than I'd like.

    This processor is very fast. Used its integrated graphics for a couple of months to play games, and it runs them smoothly

    Had a 5900x but alot of cooling issues. Yes it gave very high gaming performance. However i switched to this and its the same performance, and yet stays very cool. Not sure why people say that this cpu runs hot. Load does not boost watts like a ryzen so im already happy as it is.

    I’m sure it’s a great processor however I returned it because I could not get a cpu cooler provided by Intel and didn’t want mickey mouse a non Intel cooler. If the non Intel cooler doesn’t cool the cpu you have non useable non returnable $279.00 junkbox item. I ended up returning cpu and mother board and buying a computer that is all put together. The socket is LGA 1700. Until a cpu cooler is available or supplied I cannot recommend this item.
