The Intel Cori5-9600k is a fast smooth operating CPU that does everything well. Not quite as good as my Cori7-9700 but is almost as fast for a little more than half the price.

It might be overkill but used these to build business PC's. They work great and have had no issues whatsoever for daily use. They run a lot and are still going strong.

Paired my processor with an MSI z390-a pro motherboard. Great processing speed, nothing too powerful but handles what I need it to when running 2 or 3 games at once lol!

I have it overclocked to 4.8 Ghz with the CORSAIR - Hydro Series H115i RGB Platinum 140mm Processor Liquid Cooling System with RGB Lighting - Black/Silver. No problems at all

This thing has been a beast for every day tasks and gaming. Upgraded from an i5-5500K and what a world of difference. Highly recommend if you are debating on getting it.

Overclocked to 4.8Ghz. I replaced my cooler master 212 plus with a Noctua U12S. The temperature reduced only 6-7 degrees Celsius from 98 to about 92 when running prime95.

I do heavy gaming and music editing, and it handles the programs/games well. Ideally would love to have a higher core/thread processor but this works great for now!

The i5 is great for those looking to get into the PC scene without spending a lot of money. can run pretty much anything with average settings.

I bought this for my nephew when I built him a gaming PC. It’s been amazing so far, perfect for his level of gaming. It’s paired with a 2060.

Built a dual boot hackintosh around this CPU with 32gb RAM, 500gb ssd’s for each OS and an rx5700xt GPU. Love that it can be overclocked.

It’s good for a starter pc build. Would recommend. Shipping took almost a month to get would recommend store pickup if available

I bought this for my daughter. Feels pretty fast for being the I5. I'd recommend if you're trying to save money. Haven't had any issues with it.

While this CPU certainly will not keep up with the i9s and the 2700xs it also isn't any where near those price points. Great gaming performance, however it does struggle a bit with rendering and general workstation extreme loads. But if you just want a gaming rig, this CPU will meet your demands all day long.

Great mid range processor. I haven't built a new PC in 7 years and I was surprised to find that though, many things stay the same, some things also change. I am pleased with Intel and the quality of their "i" series processors. The last I purchased was the i5 3570k and it is still working like a charm after all these years. Slap on 2 more cores and threads and you have yourself the 9600k. I hadven't run any benchmarks or oc'd this processor, yet, but am very happy with the speed I am getting in the very few games I play.

Nice CPU for a decent price, when you have no need for high end performance this is really all you could ask for, gets the job done at a nice price.
