King for FPS.

AMD offers better solutions - if you can find one in stock. Do buy this if your main goal is to have maximum FPS in games and VR. There is nothing on the market right now that outperforms this CPU when paired with 30 series GPU. You will have an edge in FPS over 5950x running this CPU - at fraction of the price. Don't buy into negative hype designed to draw eyeballs with sensational nonsense benchmarks. Watch side-by-side game-play videos where 11900k clearly beats 5950x.

Excellent price of $549.99 from Bestbuy.

The processor can be over clocked to 6.5GHz with LN2. It has 8cores and 16 threads that can run with turbo frequency of 5.3Ghz. This would be first generation of Intel processors that supports PCIe 4.0. So it may be future proof.

Best Buy has the best price available right now!

Also looking forward to see if this CPU and motherboard are able to take advantage of PCIe 4.0. If you are looking for this specific processor then Best Buy is the best place to get it.

Good CPU but 12th gen is better
