A very good CPU but the i7 would have worked OK for me. I got this one and the DDR5 memory with a new Z790 board all on sale. If you read lots of reviews, all of the new gen parts are a nice improvement but I need to save up for a new graphics card to get the most out this machine. So...don't blow the whole budget on the CPU if you won't be able to get the rest of the upgrades. Take your time and make a plan....not like last time....but that's another story.

Fastest cpu I've ever seen. With a 1090ti graphics card blows my ps5 away! LG C2 for a monitor and 4k gaming got a whole makeover. Just plan to water cool.

Great upgrade from my old 8700k. Very pleased with how it's running, although it's definitely a hot chip. Cooling it with a 360mm AIO and it is still quite toasty when overclocked.

Absolutely Amazing, the sheer performance of this is more than I've ever had and I would buy this again in a heartbeat. You will need a decently large cooler though.

Unbelievable. This CPU is really next level. The speed is outrageous. Upgraded from 18500k. Not really necessary to upgrade but just had to. Not mad about it.

Going from my Ryzen 7 3700x this thing is so much better and faster in every single imaginable way. I've been team ryzen the past couple of years but wow this thing has put me back on team intel, at least for now.

Beast of a CPU. Use it for work and play on my home set up. I do CAD design and this doesnt back down to model sizes.

Tbh best cpu. It makes power like crazy and i run like big simulator games and i run it for a long time. Had it run for 25 hours straight and handled it like a champ. 10/10 recommend

What can i say other than this is fast and runs hot. Make sure you have adequate cooling. Id recommend an AIO 360.

This intel flagship cpu is simply amazing. great for gaming or productivity. It does get hot so a good cooling solution is required.

Steal if it’s on sale 12th Gen. Works super quick and as expected

Absolutely ballin' CPU. Yes, it gets hot, if you max it out, but usually, mine sits around 30-45C, especially during gaming.

Why do you need 16 cores ? If you want to own a hell of a beast processor and be able to multitask without going overboard on the pricing this is the one. Just make sure you don't bottleneck it by paring it with a 1080 Ti like I did at first. By doing this I caused my system to reboot several times without knowing what was causing it. Pair it either with a 30 generation or a 40 generation video card.

Well well well. Good ol intel. Went really good with my build and works amazing. Powerful CPU that makes my build just feel “mmmmm nice”. The price was super fair when I got it. If it were me I just go with the 13900k but this one basically works the same just less cores. Just snag it when it goes on sale! Usually hits good prices like now

Plug and play, not hard to install. Very fast and I love it.

Runs cool and fast. No glitches on any software so far. Don't even feel the need to overclock at this point.
