    Screw AMD, this processor is King! The OC ranges are insane and it stays cool under any workload I give it.

    Great processor...runs cool on AIO 360mm cooler. Opted for a DDR4 board for now until DDR5 prices settle down.

  • Very efficient but hard to get stock performance

    I don't know if this was just bad silicon lottery or what, but I was getting a little over 24k in Cinebench R23, for a 12900k this should be well into the 27k range at stock. I did the overclock one click with bios and got it to around 26k but that proved unstable, I did a small overclock myself manually and got it near stock speeds. I shouldn't have to overclock a chip for it to produce stock speed results.. The 12900k is very efficient though on power, but at the end of the day I want what I paid for. I still think the 12900k is great, perhaps if I got another one it would have performed better.

    Fast CPU. Good temps with Noctua D15 Chromax. A bit overkill for now but should last a while.
