It's been running great! Check the motherboard you purchase though, as it may require bios upgrades to fix issues and compatibility. The fact that you can decide if you want to go with a cheaper board and DDR4, or be up to date with a newer board and DDR5 is great as well!

It was really good for the first few months that I had this cpu for, it would breeze through the games and work I was doing at the time. Then programs had started to crash/stop working altogether. Then it couldnt even boot into windows after another momth, I tried everything, lowering the speeds, updating bios and even using new ram however none of it worked, if the cpu itself hadnt degraded overtime it would have a higher rating.

I have Asus Z790-A motherboard i purchased from Amazon that i placed the CPU in witch was purchased from best buy the sales person who sold the chip was very helpful and courteous and knew what he was recommending i have been building my own system since 2008

It has a separate fan as you can see. I’ve been using it for over a few months and I’ve had no issues with it. It’s really quite it renders pretty much anything and everything.
