Great processor, excellent quality, super-fast speed. If you're in the market for a new processor I would highly recommend the i9 14th gen.

Wanted something to go with my 5090 and this did not disappoint. Runs a little hot so I strongly suggest you get a really good cooler

This can get really heated up , i am talking about 212*F . You would definetly need to go for a AIO cooler if you are getting this one. Dont get me wrong , this is a really powerful system but gets really heated up. To deal with the temps , undervolting can be another solution

Its a beast processor, but a little hot. Like a boiling water.

It is a very good cpu that works wonders for all applications you throw at it. The only issue is that it runs a little hotter as many reviews state. I am using an ek nucleus 360, which has kept its temperature down to about 25-30 on idle. It is also a good thing to have a good AIO as air coolers are no longer capable of handling a CPU that runs this hot.b

Pretty solid CPU. I worried about overheating due to complaints, but I'm getting 30-34 degrees Celsius while its idle and the hottest it's gotten was 38 while under load. I've got a 360mm AIO so that probably helps. If it's causing you issues, it's most likely because you need to tweak the settings on your motherboard.

I just built my new pc witt this 14900K and so far it is exceeding my expectations! No bootleg with my GPU, nothing is gling wrong so far! 10/10 would build with it again!

Title says it. This thing is a beast of a processor and rarely crosses 30-40% utilization, even on poorly optimized games.

14900k is among the best processors you can buy for both gaming and productivity. However, 14900k is power hungry. If you strictly use your PC for gaming, there is a cheaper more efficient “3D cache” processor from AMD that mostly meets or exceeds the gaming performance of the 14900k.

Very fast cpu. Just gets a little warm on a heavy load.

Be sure to tune this power hungry beast. I like it.
