Don’t worry about all the issues with intel. Literally just sync all core to 5.4ghz and you’re good. Also make sure to update your bios for the latest microcode updates!

I like Intel so I pre-purchased the processor. Ended up returning it after hearing about some reviews. If you really need Intel, get the cheaper 13900k. For me, I went with the AMD 7800X3D for my gaming rig rebuild.

Great CPU if you have the proper computer set up. Buying this CPU almost guarantees that you will not stutter or lose frames in any game you play. 10/10 product. Ill have to wait for years to upgrade!

Pretty expensive CPU for only being a little faster than my 12th Gen i7 and crashing so often. Even after upgrading BIOS to get the Microcode update the damage is done and I will be getting a new CPU from Intel. If the new CPU doesn't crash I will update my review to 4 stars as it was pretty much the fastest thing out there for multi-tasked programs.
failed in less than a year and ruined my computer.

i am furious. i spent all my savings to finally have a dream machine. it didn't last a year before my computer started crashing more and more until it was totally unusable. i'm not able to just get up and go to best buy whenever i want. i had to pay for another one just so geek squad could test if that was the problem. we're getting to the furious part. the members of geek squad told me that the 14th gen is known to be defective and fail and they are just hoping that the new one i bought was new enough that the issue had been resolved on it. there wasn't a whole lot i could do since for some reason computer components don't come with a warranty, even for total members, which i am, and even though i was sold a product that was known to be defective. it would certainly be bad enought if this was the end of it. geek squad testing now causes the diagnostic to fail and crash my computer during a graphics test. they said all i could do was take it home and try it out. now over half of my games crash or can't even load.
to sum up, my expensive dream machine is a piece of junk and there doesn't seem to be anyone willing to help me.

Ran the CPU within Intel specifications, never overclocked and it degraded within 4 months of use. Game crashes and BSODs started to become more frequent until I had to underclock the CPU to have it stable for more than an hour at idle. Got an RMA through Intel quickly. When the CPU did work in the past it was great and as fast as I expected. Be wary of the issues with 13th and 14th gen, I just hope I won't need to keep RMAing this cpu forever.
