Intel makes bad products. They push out millions of CPUs that cost $500 dollars and they're all broken with no hope of a fix. Cool stuff!

Make sure you do not buy an i9-13900k or an i9-14900k if you're planning on using it for games with dx12. You have to turn the pcore x down from Max to 52x to get it to run and this decreased performance. Then it will die not run smoothly. Do yourself a favor and google the processor and dx12 games crashing. You'll find a ton of reddit and Intel posts about it. Good luck.

I have seen many reviews and videos over how AMD has completely outperformed intel in almost every way possible, but! I have seen enough to also know that intel has had its rough years with their 13th and 14th gen causing many issues. With that being factored into this review and to how the performance is now as of February 11, 2025; I can say that this cpu is the best for multitasking and trying to create games, edit videos, render 3d objects, and more. The list can go on, but the argument that is probably going to shut it down is the price to performance. Yes, its not the best price to performance as most AMD cpu’s are, but when it comes to raw computing performance, this cpu is amazing and gets the job done. Gaming is also not bad, because you can run games almost as good as the Ryzen 7 9800x3D. While the ryzen cpu is cheaper and better for gaming, this cpu is meant more for creating things and running multiple programs. If you’re someone who does both gaming and create, then this cpu isn’t the worst option and it’s not the best. I personally chose this cpu because I create multiple things using Blender, Sony Vegas Pro, and Unreal Engine 5. So this cpu offers me the best for what I need it for. Of course, check out benchmarks and decide for yourself what you believe is ideal for you specifically. Overall, this cpu is not bad, but its also expensive and you should only get it if you have seen the benchmarks and are prepared to use it to the max. Otherwise, you may want an AMD. Have a good day, and I hope this could help solve some of your problems and help you decide on what you want.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. The CPU runs great, had no errors posting and the temps are also great. Granted, temps vary greatly system to system. I run a 420mm AIO and idle temp is near 28-32C. Have not seen temps rise above 65C even when stress testing.

This CPU does it all with the 24 cores. If multitasking is your need with thr power gaming this is the one. Very efficient compared to 13900k worth the extra dollars.

I have had the 14900k CPU paired with an MSI Z790 Edge/rtx 4090 for 9 months. I used it Mon thur Fri for editing and rendering and gaming on the weekends. Never had the blue-screen or stability issues. Never patched it either. Dont know if i won the silicon lotto but I love the cpu.

I purchased my 14900k from bestbuy 2 months later my system started crashing turns out these 14900k and 14700k have problems and mines getting rma by intel, dont buy this until intel fixes the instability issues
