Its the best you can get as far as non threadrippers. Those threadrippers are thousands of dollars for just a chip. That most people wont be able to take advantage of. For gaming and evrything this is the best.

Rendered all applications I throw at it, this is an awesome cpu, although runs on the hot side. I had hope that Intel would have address this in this series, luckily I have an good aio to keep it cool.

So far great CPU and Customer service! hopefully I got the patch of intel cpus that didn’t poop the bed haha. Jokes aside I’m happy with the performance upgrade my computer got!

So far my experience with the 14900k hasn’t been too bad. Setting the power limit to intels default in bios is standard if you want good thermals. Undervolting seems underwhelming. Able to - offset 0.050 but don’t really notice an improvement to temps, just lower score in cinebench. If I could do it over I would get the 14700k as performance is negligible and would save an extra $100. Overall, great cpu. Getting 35-40 celsius at idle, 55-75 under load with a kraken 360 aio, if you go with the kraken, get the elite only if you’ll view your cpu from an angle. As the small square display contrasts the black outline. Looking at it straight on is uniformed

This thing is a powerhouse, make sure you have a cooler to match (360 mm aio or bigger) upgraded from 10th gen i9. Major improvements. Not much different from the 13th gen. Get whichever is on sale.

Definitely a noticeable upgrade from the 12th gen i9 for me. I am always impressed by intels upgrades though this one isn’t much from the 13th gen it’s still very reliable and on sale worth every penny.

Moving from a core 2 duo to this is phenomenal. Fast and runs great with graphite pad and air cooling. Im sure its cooler on water but im not a risk taker

I completely do not understand how Intel has Completely forgone, quality control. Apparently there's a huge issue at the CPU failing. I am under constant watching for any indication of failure. Would not recommend due to the lack of my ability to pre research, this product. If I knew everything about it, I probably would have went to Ryzen for the first time in my entire life.
