No problems with this cpu just install new bios updates your good to go. Undr voltaging is a must. This paired with a rtx5090 is dream. Also great for content creation and other work loads besides gaming.

The results were nothing short of impressive. With the i9-14900K processor, I was able to achieve a staggering 1000 frames per second FPS in Valorant. The gameplay was silky smooth, with no noticeable lag or stuttering. The processor handled the game's demanding graphics and physics with ease, making it a joy to play. like I was on a pro players gaming setup Rating: 5/5

I love this CPU its fast and snappy. Since i do more than just gaming i wanted an Intel CPU. The only issues is that you need to make sure your motherboard is updated to the latest BIOS. Other than that its great. If you will only be gaming then go with the AMD x3d CPUs, but if you will be doing more than that definitely get this CPU

This processor can handle anything you throw at it! I had to upgrade my older 7700k because it was causing a bottle neck. I knew to expect a jump in frames while gaming but this blew my mind. One thing to keep in mind is that this processor will get hot. I would recommend getting a 360mm AIO just for some peace of mind. These can run hot and are still safe, I just like to see lower cooler numbers for my own personal sanity.

Bought a "new" lower-end CPU through another marketplace, and it came open. Thankfully, this was ready for pick-up immediately, and runs much better than my previously burnt out CPU

I had to spend an entire day figuring out how to get temperatures under control even with a 360mm AIO this thing will run in Autoconfiguration from the bios to pull max power 253+ watts at 100C depending on the game you are playing or what you are doing. I finally found a video that explained to me what was going on. I adjusted my PL1/PL2 limits from 253/253 to 145/253 and I went from a cinebench score of 35,000 100C thermal throttle to 31,000 63C all core temp average. This is already a lot of information for an average user and I had no idea or was even aware of all of this information prior to purchase but I recommend giving this video a look over instead of running the CPU at 100C thermal throttled on the regular. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnzDawjBcPM&t=11s

For the last few years I've used an all AMD system. 6800 XT, 5800X3D and a 7900 XTX with a 7590X3D... I swapped to the 14900K for a few reasons. 1- Intel is a much more stable platform 2- Much better memory support 3- Performance is very close to the competition Before switching, I attempted multiple RMAs with the same results, countless BSOD's, Multiple crashes, etc. Since switching I don't regret buying this CPU. I might lose performance within a margin of 2% at most, but I haven't had a single problem with reliability.
