I purchased this CPU along with over $4,000 worth of parts to build my 4090 system. When I opened the box, I discovered it contained a 13700K instead. The managers initially tried to claim that I had swapped it out, but I know that’s not the case. I’m writing this because I’ve now seen the same issue happen to someone else at this location—this time with a 5090. Something suspicious is clearly going on here. I had to argue with the managers and was ready to return all $4,000+ worth of items I had opened, which would have forced them to resell everything as open-box and take a loss. After speaking directly with the store owner, they finally agreed to replace the CPU with the correct one, but only because of how much I was going to return. Bottom line: Make sure they open the box in front of you before you leave. The only reason this situation ended fairly for me was because of the amount I had spent.

Great gaming and multitasking CPU. Runs hot while gaming. Make sure you have adequate cooling.

Runs fantastic. Games butter smooth and i can actually say i have an advantage in game now!

Getting this cpu chip for your high end computer needs is perfect. It is ultra fast and top tier quality.

What more can you ask for? It's a top of the line CPU...but you'll definitely need a 360mm AIO to keep it cool.

Very fast. Purchased at the same time when i got rtx 4099. Using io cooler highest temp is 40c sonfar

The Intel i9 was exactly what I was expecting and was able to fit my needs.

Probably not much better than 13th gen. But it sure is powerful and a nightmare to cool when drawing near 250 watts.

Just a monster in a box. Take it out and let it run wild. Just don’t go light on the cooling.

Super fast but super hot, you basically have to undervolt it to control the temperatures from spiking so high

Faster than my I9 12900k for inventor by atleast 40%. Descent upgrade over 12th gen.

What can i say? Other than its a beast of a cpu. Would recommend pairing with a Z790 mobo and at least 6000mhz ddr5 ram.

Stupid fast CPU use it stream and play video games and works great

Speed is King. Highly recommend to spend if you have the moola.
