good product can't complain would buy again next time

I wish it had better effect on my laptops. It shows the virus but doesn't fix them

The product works pretty good, but I seem to have been upsold multiple redundant versions that just keep automatically renewing. I have tried to discuss with a human several times to resolve the redundancy, merge licenses, or whatever, but am always tole "the system" won't allow them to do that. The employees want to help but the bots that run the place won't let them.

Its is an okay. It works okay for what it is hard to use at times.

I was sent a link to review this product but there is no image and no name of the product. We all get a lot of emails and ones like this are a little annoying. Anyway, I hope I liked whatever product this is that I am supposed to be reviewing.

Average compared to other equivalent completion antivirus software

My only thing I have a problem is that the subscription doesn't say which tablet, PC or laptop its for. I must have close to 8 subscriptions with geek squad so who knows I know that I'm covered for all of them

It was good while I had it. I no longer have a computer so it was no longer needed.

When I bought my laptop and associated other items I chose not to go w any ad-ons like extended service plans. Salesman said this antivirus software was automatically included free w all their computers. True enough, but having never heard of it, I never installed (even though it was included free,it was not pre-installed) nor activated it. Instead I went w my old reliable TOTALLY FREE (and very highly rated) Avast. Guess what? At the end of the Webroot free trial period, my credit card was automatically charged over $50 to renew Webroot, EVEN THOUGH I NEVER INSTALLED NOR ACTIVATED the software (and they KNEW it - they sent several reminders to activate my free trial). And I certainly did NOT authorize the automatic charging of the card I used to purchase my computer. I literally had to go to Best Buy's site and stop future renewals of a subscription I never signed up for to begin with. I've recently upgraded a LOT of technology/electronics/appliances, and have been quite pleased with Best Buy (free shipping, or my preferred in-store pickup etc), but if you're buying a computer, I highly recommend that you have them remove Webroot from your invoice even if it's free. Of course if you read the other reviews here you'll see that the Webroot folks are very eager to claim that theirs is the best, totally unique etc. However when I read a bunch of reviews to see if Avast was still the best option for me, I didn't see their product mentioned ONCE. Also note that people who've installed it but later decided to remove Webroot have afterwards been spammed w all kinds of pop-ups on their computers asking them to reinstate (kind of its own annoying virus). McAfee unfortunately came pre- installed on my laptop and does the same thing - very difficult to totally remove (requires Internet research). So unless you want to get a lifetime of spam, do not even accept this "free" trial when purchasing a new computer.

We haven't had a virus, but we don't know how much it does.

I bought a hp printer that has free ink. I am having some problems keeping it on line but the customer service has walked me through it. It's a good printer but wish I didn't need to keep reconnecting it. Seems like a glitch.

Webroot security seems to work well. I appreciate the regular automatic checkups.

It’s hard to distinguish this service from other services

I used and liked but got a new computer and changed again ever time u buy something u get free for 6 month then have to pay would be nice to get free on securty u want

Not sure web root is installed on my desktop after looking for it??

Works well (I think) on my Windows computers but it stopped working on my iMac, after iOS upgrade to Catalina. Eventually, I had to buy another security software for the Mac.

Used it, but it was not a helpful as it seemed. Don't expect too much.

Careful when you buy your PC, some of this will be auto renew and you need to stay on top of renewal dates.
