There have been frequent occasions when I have had to consult with the Geek Squad to keep my home functioning. My membership has also been helpful with the discounts provided when I have needed to replace aging equipment. I count on my membership constantly.

Prior to webroot I had all kinds of issues engaging with technology. Webroot resolved most of those engagement issues.

Wasted $99 on something I ultimately fixed myself

Normally he is very good. He has helped in the past. My printer was not printing. He checked all the usual things and in particular the ink cartridges which I told him I had recently changed. He said they looked fine and would print in another color but not black. After about an hour he gave up and said there was no more he could do and I needed a new printer, he would get back to me with some recommendations. I didn't hear back so I started re-checking the cartridges I previously changed and discovered the big black one still had the tape covering the ink hole!!!! It is tiny and not as easy to see at first glance - but still he should have noticed it. I pulled off the tape and put it back in and the printer is now working fine!!!!!!! That is all it was - I have printed out all my tax info and no problems!! So I spent $99 for a home visit, and nearly bought a new printer all because the tape that covered the ink hole was still on. I had told him right off that I had replaced the cartridge and he said that was not the problem. Wasted money which I can not afford.
