Really good movie. If you are at all interested in time a space you will enjoy this.

with the intention to show the public the element of the third dimension inter. stell. captivated the imagination on how a story line goes from the rural farm to space travel to the third dimension all in the same breath.

Bought this at best buy because it has the Only At Best Buy Bonus content with mote than 3 hours of exclusive conent.

Black Friday deal best time to buy Blu-ray movie buying a lot of movie

Not a review about the movie but the case. I bought Interstellar 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital Code [3 Discs] according to the description online. Also, BestBuy said the movie was supposed to be delivered on July 23, 2019. I received it today July 17, 2019 in a Blu-ray case, no cover slip, no black 4k case. I’m afraid to open the plastic seal and be ripped off. Definitely going in-store and returning/exchanging it.

The product that I was shipped only had a DVD and the digital code. It did NOT include a Blu-ray risk. In fact, the case didn’t even have a spot for a second disk. Very strange because it appeared to be wrapped from the factory, but it seems that it may have been manipulated because the case also has a barcode sticker on the case itself. This was misrepresented by Best Buy.

great film I don't watch many movies more than once but this is one of them. stunning visually,sond is great also.

Interstellar is a re- watchible masterpiece, from the amazing visuals, captivading HDR and impactful storylines, its a must have if you enjoy great movies that transport you.

By the time I'm writing this, it would be 2 days after I watched the movie & its 4K disc for the very first time. Now, let me start off by saying: I LOVE Christopher Nolan's movies! No, really, I seriously mean it! I have been a big fan of him since I was 6 years old & watched "Batman Begins" (2005) for the very first time on DVD. Since then, years later when I was 13, I figured it be best to get into the sequels, "The Dark Knight" (2008) & "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012). After watching both films, I thought they were really great! Well, "The Dark Knight" was the best in the trilogy. But for "The Dark Knight Rises", I thought it was really good, but not as great as the first 2 films in the trilogy, but still an acceptable sequel to conclude the storyline of Christian Bale's iconic performance as Batman. Later at 17, I watched "Dunkirk" (2017) and I think it was another good film with great sound effects & all. But, later on after all these years, I'd think it be best to go for a rewatch since I only saw it once. Cut to early 2021, the 4K Blu-Ray of "Tenet" (2020) comes out, and I ended up liking the film actually. You have a really good cast with John David Washington & Robert Pattison (before we see him becoming Matt Reeves' "The Batman" (2022)) and all I can honestly say is that both actors were great in their roles, along with the concept idea of using time as the plot of the film. Now, cut to January 7, 2023, I watched "Interstellar" (2014) for the very first time and... I just LOVED this movie! Everything about this film is great! The acting, the set pieces, the cinematography, the original musical score provided by noneother than the LEGENDARY Hans Zimmer (Yes, I've been a big fan his film scores since Disney's The Lion King (1994)), and the biggest praise of it all... the visual effects! My goodness gracious, the visual effects in this film are beautifully well-made. I'm very glad this film won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects back in 2015. Now, to answer the GIANT elephant in the room, is the 4K worth it? Yes. It is definently worth the money. Especially if you're a massive fan of Christopher Nolan, then this movie is worth adding to your movie collection. I give it 5/5 for the picture quality, and a 5/5 for the sound quality.

This review is focused on the 4K Ultra-HD Blu-Ray disc and not so much the movie itself. Movie viewed on 65" LG OLED C6P using an Oppo 203 Ultra HD Player. The set comes in a nice 3-disc set (with the 4K, 1080p and blu-ray special features discs) along with a slipcover and digital copy. One gripe about these releases are that despite being 3-disc sets, they come in 2-disc cases (with discs stacked). Overall.. I thought MOST of the movie looked great! Very impressive, very clean and very sharp. Probably one of the best looking 4K discs in the current Nolan collection. Where it does fall apart are in space (go figure!). These films have artificially raised the black levels, meaning Black is actually a more "dark grey". On an OLED TV where Black is actually Black (and space content SHOULD look amazing) you instead see a grey backlighting almost like an LCD TV. Aside from that, it looks great though. Like the other titles, no Atmos on this release, just DTS-HD-MA 5.1 audio.

Best movie, in 4k, just awesome. The clarity of the picture and the good sound make this movie one of the best for your collection.

What you get here is one 4K disc, two blu-rays and a digital copy. This movie is pretty much my number one movie of all time, so I’m glad that Nolan and his team did so well with the 4K. It looks and sounds marvelous. For $20 I’d say this movie is a steal!

This isn't a review on the movie but the 4K quality. Some movies get put in a black box with 4K on it. This movie got a good treatment. HDR and colors both pop out and really show off a quality home theater. The movie itself it great but you already know that.

Gorgeous visual, audio is amazing! Looks awesome on my mini-led tv

Great movie for 4k collection. HDR is great and the audio track is amazing. I feel every touch of the booster in the shuttle, shakes my house with extremely low bass. This will show off a kick butt sub in a trembling way.

Been looking for a physical of Interstellar for awhile and Im glad I was able to find it ar Best Buy. Even with the low stock on physical media. The picture and sound is beautiful, having the sound be at its highest quality and not having a streaming service ruin it, the main theme hits more!

Great 4K buy, stunningly visual but a defective I must say, Some scenes in full screen than changes to wide screen.
