Incredible special effects, amazing acting and a story that makes you think unlike most cliche movies hollywood produces nowadays. Beautiful message (love transcends time and space) that will move most people to tears. Definitely a must own masterpiece!

As a sci-fi movie junkie I was expecting another "Gravity", with plenty of special effects and a relatively thin story line that was going to drag on forever. Even though I figured out most of the ending about 30-45 minutes in, I was on the edge of my seat wondering the "how" these events occurred. I'll be watching this 2 or 3 more times, and even then probably on a quarterly basis after that. This will be my Shawshank Redemption of the sci-fi genre.

I am a Christopher Nolan fan and he really delivered on this one. It is a visual and mental exercise in greatness. I never get tired of watching this film. A must own for any cinema buff.

Had high expectations for this movie going into it especially since it was about three hours long. Usually going in with high expectations me too disappointed but this was one of those rare exceptions. By the end, I was actually wanting more...which is just how any good movie should be done. In short, great movie and plan on watching it regularly.

This movie motivated me to conquer my deep seated fear of Algebra. It's a masterpiece. Pure and simple. It is oscar worthy.

One of the greatest films I have ever had the pleasure of seeing! The story line feels very real and I would watch this many times over. It's a must have masterpiece!

I love the recent efforts to blend traditional widescreen (2.40:1) with IMAX's full-frame (1.78:1) images in the same movie. I first saw this in a recent Transformer movie, and it's quite neat. The transitions are seamless because they flow with the film. You have to be especially attentive, despite the dramatic flips between having the wide image (black top and bottom borders) and no borders. Beyond this cool gimmick, this is a wonderful opportunity to show off your home theater.

It speaks volumes when a movie's director (who was inspired by films like 2001: A Space Odyssey) asks NASA astrophysicists to consult on designs and dialogue relating to wormholes and black holes. This is exactly what Chris Nolan does in Interstellar. However, some viewers may get a little perplexed by some of the time jumps and disruptions, but the physics and interstellar travel are explained in digestible ways throughout the film. Highly recommended!

I could barely hear what the actors were saying. Having to frequently turn the volume up and down my receiver was so irritating and took me out of the movie. It was distracting. I wont warch another Christopher Nopan film. Im done with him. I never had this issue before with other films.

Walmart, Target, and Best Buy all have their own special Interstellar editions. In the end, this is the best one of the three "exclusive" Blu-ray versions out there. All of them have the IMAX film cell, the basic featurettes. Walmart has prettier packaging, and a cheap little paperback picturebook (rolls eyes). Target has the steelbox case. But Best Buy is the only one that has extra featurettes, which is what true fans would care about.

After coming off of the Batman trilogy, Nolan pulls it off again with a dynamite movie called Interstellar! Lots of research & love went into this ride through black holes as well as time and space. The cast was made for the characters they play. The script is intelligent and well-thought out (it does make you think!). All of the effects go beyond anything you've seen. Get it! You'll not regret it!

An interesting Sci-Fi premise imagining what it may be like to travel through a Definitely a mind-bender of a film. If you like Semi "Hard-Sci-Fi" then this is definitely it. In a way it is somewhat like A Space Odyssey - trust me it gets trippy near the end with a beautiful, heart-warming tale mixed in. For the basic Bluray edition you get exactly what you pay for.

This is easily one of my favorite movies. It is one of those you can watch over and over again and find something new each time. While I do admit there were some concepts that were confusing to me (the whole space time travel, different dimensions of time, etc.), it is an excellent movie. Excellent cast, probably one of my favorite scores, and great action.

Looks improved on the 4K disc. Love the sound track.

This movie was one I was waiting to see since I heard good reviews about and boy were they not wrong. It is a thinker with whole bunch of Sci Fi dusted all over it. I will not try to spoil it for you but if you spend time thinking about time and what is far beyond our own imagination you will thoroughly enjoy this movie is much as I did.

A complex film with so much more than the usual "...we screwed up the Earth, let's not do it again..." storyline. You have to watch this film with no distractions. You won't know where this is going until the end and if you lost focus you will not understand what happened. Stay with this one - it is worth it!!

After dark knight trilogy, Christopher Nolan returns with a powerful sci fi film that will entertain and stimulate the mind! A must have blu ray for film buffs! Another keeper that will require multiple viewings. Amazing cast, screenplay, score, and cinematography! Sit back and enjoy the ride!

It is a good movie that combines 2001, 2010, Gravity, and Apollo 13 into a movie where the main character wants to get home to save his daughter and humanity while realizing how mankind has the potential to grow beyond where we are now.

This movie just got me so involved from the start that I watched it 2 days in a row. After seeing it the first time you will want to watch it again to pick up some of the plot lines you might of missed on the first viewing. This is a 5 star movie in audio & video. It rocked my 5.1 HD audio system.
