Great movie and one of the best movies ever made visually and mentally

Great movie. Looks great in 4K UHD. The only issue I thought was annoying is some parts switch between letterbox and “full screen.” I know Nolan likes using that for his movies. Why not just do the whole movie in one or the other?

One of my favorite movies! The 4k version is pretty awesome! I got it to use with my sony bravia X90J!

If you're looking for an action packed, quick moving thriller, forget this movie. However, if you enjoy a movie that will force you to look at life from different perspectives, don't miss Interstellar. For example: How long is a year if you're not on earth? How desperate will a man be if stranded alone on a planet? And much more. One note of caution, it is a long, complicated plot, so either start early in the evening or take it over 2 evenings as I did. I think that helped me digest the plot too.

What can I say about his movie? Just an absolute classic! Worth re-watching! Nice improved visuals with the 4K Ultra HD version too!

Simply put, I loved this movie. If you're a fan of Nolan, you'll probably love it, too. If you're turned off by his penchant for exposition, this movie will not change your mind (and you're not wrong: his scripts overdo it with explanatory dialogue, but I'm willing to overlook that). The outer space imagery and practical special effects are incredible. The performances are outstanding, too. McConaughey is on quite a roll recently and this film continues that. Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, John Lithgow, and Casey Affleck are all excellent as well. There's also a cool cameo that I won't spoil. I'd definitely recommend this to fans of Christopher Nolan and science fiction (particularly movies like 2001).

Already owned the blu-ray version but wanted the 4k… was not disappointed!

VERY UNIQUE...This sci-fi movie keeps you guessing and on the seat of your chair throughout the movie. In the special features; they explained how they had real scientists use their theories of time-space equivalent to make sure that this movie was not just entertainment science fiction. Wild theories that are hard to believe; but, are true. All the actors within are great and there are a lot of well known actors in the movie. Most movies are structured about the same and you get the thrill of the action or the heartfelt joy or saddness of dramas; but, you can almost always know how it will end. There is only one part of the ending that you hope happens, and it does...but, for the rest...it's all a surprise. A++

I just bought a 4K blu ray player and wanted to watch a 4K movie on it. The picture quality was amazing and what a great movie. Such a unique plot and interesting movie.

Great movie! the picture is awesome. Pick up was fast. Best Buy has the most 4K movies available that I have seen so far.

I am a science fiction movie fan, and I have seen many great movies. I have to say that Interstellar is one of the best films of the genre I've seen in a while. It is very much within the realm of what humans are scientifically capable of, and the science is fresh and new - heavily based on the contemporary understanding of astronomy and physics. The special features are great with plenty of content, so if you liked the movie I recommend paying the extra money to get the 3 disk blu-ray version. I loved how the real hazards of space travel and not to mention the differences in time passage for astronauts that were near a neutron star and black hole versus those that were not close were portrayed. Great film!

I saw it in the theaters and the blu-ray version didn't disappoint, nor did it fail to elicit some of the same edge-of-my-seat moments that had me practically fidgeting and trembling with anticipation in the theaters. McConaughey is fantastic in not only building intensity in those tense moments, but also of being relatable as a father and general human being under extraordinary circumstances. Accompanying him and providing the other side of the spectrum is Hatthaway's acting. The two together provide a fantastic dichotomy. Combine that with the science being as accurate as is possible and the realism that ensues in Nolan's storytelling, and you have a film with no problems in suspending one's disbelief.

I've seen this movie multiple times and I must say it's almost a classic the ending was a little weird but it overall good movie

A modern space epic that must be seen on 4k. Stellar colors and even better audio

Chris Nolan knows how to make a movie look good. Some aspects are in IMAX, others are in their standard letterbox as was done with Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises.

Spectacular, I had the Blu-Ray it does not show all the colors and details basically no good,the 4k is mind blowing

Even though I had already owned the move in digital, I knew I had to get this film in 4k. One of the most visually stunning and masterpieces by Nolan. Highly recommend!

Matthew mcconaughey is a bit weird in every movie, and this one is no exception.
