This is one of my favorite Nolan films transfered over to 4K and wow is it beautiful. The imax scenes look fantastic and I’m super happy with the overall outcome.

Christopher Nolan knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat.

First, I must say I am a big fan of the movie "Contact" written by Carl Sagan. And for me, "Interstellar" achieved the same status. Mixing all kinds of beliefs and opinions into a very thought provoking film. I might not agree with every idea in it, but it did expand my thinking to include some of these other ideas. Matthew McConaughey gives one of his best performances in this movie ... equal to or even better than his Oscar winning role in the "Dallas Buyers Club". And so wonderful to see one of my all time favorite actors, John Lithgow, back in a role to match his abilities. I would very highly recommend this film to anyone.

I am a fan of Christopher Nolan's movies because my expectations have never been let down. When Interstellar first came out, I knew I had to see this movie because it was a Christopher Nolan film. After seeing this movie, I immediately knew I had to purchase it because it was an instant favorite and had to add it to my collection. I watched the movie several times within the first week of purchasing it - I noticed every time I watched it, I picked up on more details that I initially never noticed during my initial viewing.

Upgraded from the HD Blu-ray to the 4K HDR release and I cannot express how impressed I am with the improved level of detail, colors, textures... SIMPLY STUNNING!

Interstellar is a pretty amazing movie. However the passage of time in the movie gives it a tone. I know...it's sorta hard to explain however. I CERTAINLY give a thumbs up for this movie. One thing I loved about it is the fact that I had to almost watch it a second time to wrap my head around some of the facts of time and the passage of time. I don't want to give away the overall plot. But, if you like DEEP thinking movies...you'll love this. If you hate movies that make you think...and I mean think REALLY hard. You might want to pass on this. I would give it a 8.5/10. After you've watched it and you still can't figure alot of the deep plots out. Out there on the web people have created time lines to help with the overall arc of the movie. I hope that helps. Enjoy!

This movie requires a lot of thinking, which is awesome! There's a lot of complexities, and they work. This isn't a movie you should watch after taking an exam or solving world problems with intense mathematical equations, because you're going to need every bit of juice your brain can muster. It's a well-done, entertaining, thought-provoking movie that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Just make sure you have tylenol if you've already wore your brain out before watching it! If it gives you a headache, it's totally worth it.

Amazing movie the 4k quality is the best ive ever seen. Couldnt believe how amazing it was

The main reason I even watched this movie was mainly because of Christopher Nolan being the director. I feel he gives us a different movie experience, most movies these days seem to be too unoriginal. I enjoy movies that make you think and that takes a few views to even get more out of it, it keeps the movie fresh, and that's what this movie does. Its intense at times with the music that ups that intensity. Excellent, must watch movie. I can't wait for another movie from Nolan to see what he has in store for us next.

This movie is one of the best to get if your just getting into 4K.

Unfortunately, I missed the film in the theater, but I'm so glad I have it now for repeat viewings. I totally bought into the "world-building" of the film, and the 1st half was grounded in real science - with plausible future events leading to believable repercussions. The hollywood urge to crept in a bit for the second half, where the film dipped a little into the fantastic (the hero, an ace test pilot can now suddenly pull amazing maneuvers around black holes, etc.) And McConaughey's mumbled drawl grew wearisome rather quickly, but I rather liked the "time" concept and 5th dimensional thinking represented at the end of the film. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite movies. The 4k transfer is well done along with great 5.1.

4k HDR is really good for this movie. Best movie i have ever seen, 2nd place to avengers endgame. this is a must buy

One of the best movies I've watched in a long time. To quote Stephan, this one has it all: an intriguing plot, eye-popping special effects, and two amazing leads actors (McConaughey and Hathaway). Matt Damon's appearance in a small but critical part was the icing on the cake. I remember when the movie was out in theaters, people were saying that the science behind the science fiction was too difficult to understand and folks should just ignore it and enjoy the ride. I think the key points, have been covered in other science fiction movies - both old and new. If you're a fan of the Next Generation Star Trek series, I think you'll be fine.
