This movie never fails to amaze me. It was a very good price at Best Buy would definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this film as I am such a space nerd. The transfer isn't reference and doesn't look as good as The Martian but it's still a noticeable uptick from the Bluray disc.

Interstellar is one of my favorite sci-fi movies and the 4k experience is outstanding. Just like having an IMax theater in my home.

Interstellar is one of the best films to be released in the last decade. With the Earth dying, food shortages eminent Matthew McConaughey plays Cooper who is asked to explore a warm hole in space to ensure to the survival of mankind. Interstellar is the journey of emotions. What really intrigued me with this film is the journey of the unknown. Everything felt real. This was the first true Science Fiction film that applied real science. The film is well balanced. The direction of this film is remarkable. The direction of this film is what makes this film work. Highly recommended.

I saw this movie through Netflix DVD and loved it. Great story, intense action and dramatic sequences, and wonderful twists keep you invested in the characters and the movie. Visually this movie is stunning; great contrast, well balanced color dynamics, and lovely cinematography please the eye. Sound is equally superb, if not more so with subtle soundscapes, wide soundstage, and reference quality playback on a solid audio system. This is a really good movie for those that love great cinema and for those that love to show off their HT system too.

This movie is an emotional roller coaster, but in a good way. Great acting and story telling. Blu Ray is the way to go for great picture and captivating sound. Way better than Birdman. Not sure what the Oscar voters were thinking. Absolutely freaking fantastic!

Saw this movie in theaters, IMAX and 70mm Imax. Was the most anticipated movie to come out on BluRay for me. Christopher Nolan as the director always bringing reality to movies, spent so much on consultants and simulators to make sure the story would make sense in a scientifical realm. Matthew McCaughey as well as Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, and Matt Damon who you don't expect all play their characters perfectly. The visuals are the best ever!!! So from Directing, to acting, story, plot, visuals and Hans Zimmer with the film score...One of the top movies ever made!!!

Had to pick this up in 4K and its great. Love this sci-fi movie

I enjoyed the immersion and soundtrack of watching this film in theaters and I have to say the sound mix translates to the blu ray. If you have a decent 5.1 or 7.1 sound system, this is a great movie to put it through its paces. Just remember to turn down the bass if u have touchy neighbors. The video quality is where I have an issue. Like the last 2 bat man movies there is an aspect ratio shift between the Imax scenes and the scenes shot with standard cameras. There is not a way to fix this jarring switch from full screen to wide screen and it really detracts from the immersion into the movie. That said, the Imax scenes like the water planet and the ice planet wide shots look fantastic. lastly, take the time to check out the special features. Some great stuff on how they shot specific scenes and built some of the craft and sets. enjoy!

Excellent movie and looks amazing in 4K. A great sci-fi story and must have for Nolan fans!

This instantly became one of my favorite movies ever after I saw it in theaters and after several more viewings it still is. It is beautiful, challenging, exciting, awesome, smart and many other adjectives. McConaughey deserved another Oscar for his superb performance. Every single actor was phenomenal, especially Jessica Chastain. Some scenes are heartbreaking and dripping with emotion, others are gorgeous, others are terrifying. Some may not understand or comprehend the conclusion, but that's really their own fault. Why are you still reading this? BUY IT NOW!

A must buy, one of Christopher Nolan's best films. You will want to watch it over and over just to pick up all the easter eggs.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. There is so much to appreciate. First, you don't have to be a science buff to enjoy the movie. Any physics concepts are explained in a brief and intuitive way that fits into the story nicely. The acting is fantastic. There are intense and powerful scenes that tear at your heart and bring tears to your eyes, and there is humor that breaks the tension. The story is excellent. They set up a great back drop for this adventure without being political. There is more, but it suffices to say that Interstellar is GREAT!!!

Really great looking 4k film. One of Nolan's best films. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys science fiction and space movies.

I'm one to nitpick at holes in movie plots, or little things I see that aren't continuous in a scene, and you notice the slightest difference in makeup, scars, blood, clothing, etc. I could find no such thing with this movie. The plot was solid, the acting was solid, the sound was solid. Everything about this movie was solid. I really appreciate the amount of detail that went into this movie, and if you're not into space like I am, I think it could open your mind a little bit to all the possibilities that exist outside our galaxy, and within our galaxy as well.

4K really brings out the scenes in this movie. Certainly a must buy for those into 4K HDR.

This is the 4k movie to get. Ive never seen more solid black and vibrant colors

Christopher Nolan has an uncanny knack for crafting intriguing human dramas played out through sharp, insightful dialogue. Interstellar is no exception. From the beginning, the plot keeps you guessing as to what the story is really all about. Matthew McConaughey turns in an outstanding performance as a refreshingly human (as opposed to super-human) and humane kind of hero. Ultimately, Interstellar makes you appreciate how precious and frail life is on Earth, and it makes you realize we don't know nearly as much as we think we do. Can't recommend highly enough.

I don’t always spring for 4K discs, but I’m so glad I did this time. The visuals are amazing. Great purchase, worth every penny!
