Nothing to add to the movie, if you're buying this you probably already know about it and Chris Nolan, the genius behind it, so I'll simply add that this is a good release. Great picture, great sound, documentaries, what we've come to expect from Blurays associated with Nolan's movies. Worth having and thank God we still have people like Nolan, willing to make summer movies that make people think, rather than just cranking out Ironman 7!!!!

Great image quality, sounds awesome on a good home theater set up, good special features, plus it even comes with a digital copy! While I know it's a divisive movie among people, I think it's a great experience loaded with fantastic visuals, emotion, and adventure. Although the movie is almost three hours long, there was never a dull moment for me and I was invested throughout. Overall, great package for one of my personal favorites!

Matthew McConaughey continues the "McConaussaince" with Batman Trilogy Director Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR. Full of drama and bits of humor, INTERSTELLAR harkens back to another era, when space travel was something we, as a people, longed to undertake. There's some great performances in this film, from McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Nolan favorite Michael Caine, to a special, uncredited guest-star in the last reel. Though the film's science and situations have come under some intense scrutiny and criticism, it holds true that no SF film is ever 100% accurate, and that a bit of license is always acceptable in the pursuit of storytelling.

Looks amazing, all of the Nolan films are great. This is spectacular on a 4K system.

Great movie. Very thought provoking. This movie really holds your interest.

FX and pretty good cast/acting as well. A Millennial version of Kubrick's 2001 - and just as convoluted/disputable ending I might add. Saw it on the big screen and just had to get this for my new 110' projection media room on blu-ray. Certainly impressed. Best Buy had a great price - but not many on the shelves! Going like hotcakes, so get yours now or wait a few months till the fervor dies down. A must-add to your genre/collection.

Bigger and brighter with 4k and sound is awesome!!

As far as a critique of the film is concerned, there are already plenty of sites where you can get better-informed opinions than mine. As for the quality of the Blu-ray, it's excellent. Video is clear without being so sharp as to be distracting, and the audio is beautiful, which is important considering that Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is the most interesting character in this film. The "Special Features" are also very interesting and very well produced and are well worth watching for those that have any interest in the making of the film, including the scientific research that was used as the foundation for many story elements.

If you are a big fan of the Nolans, then this movie is a must see. Following after the success that was Inception, Interstellar doesn't disappoint. It's a thinking man's film, but the character's do a great job of explaining things as the plot moves along. The ending sequence isn't as ambiguous as Inception's, but it far from disappoints. This, along with all the events that unfold throughout the film makes this film worth a watch.

I love this movie and the 4K is worth the upgrade. One of favorite Nolan Movies.

Stunning picture. The film itself is a mixed bag, but the release is incredible.

This is not a movie, it is a film. I loved, loved this film. If you liked "Contact" or "2001" then you are sure to love this film. The great thing about this film is that it is pretty accurate to "real life." They had a scientist on set and helping in the writing. Before or after watching it go on youtube check out world famous scientist Neil Tyson Degrasse talking about the film. You will love the extra commentary he provides.

Gotta watch this in 4k, it's a new experience you don't want to miss out on!!

As a realistic fiction author, I found the concept of the Sun destroying the Earth's surface because of all the senseless things we do to our planet. The possible erosion and death of our planet is very real to me. I found the storyline was done very well. Anything is possible in time and space. I loved the film, and my husband who is a difficult to please critic found he liked this movie very much and well worth the cost.

This already classic masterpiece gets the treatment it deserves as a 4K ULTRA HD Blu-ray any movie fan should add to their collection. The scenes are so sharp it reminded me how it looked like in the IMAX theater and I only wished to have a bigger TV!

Picture looks reference quality, sound is up there too.

I think that "Interstellar" was one of the greatest sci-fi/action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite sci-fi/action films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "Interstellar" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and amazing personal storyline.

This movie was great on regular Blu-ray now its even better on 4K Blu-ray!
