This is an absolutely beautiful film, not only visually, but thematically as well. It's scientific aspects may be lost on some, but the emotional journey it presents should be enough to cut through. It also comes packed with special features that explore just what an incredible undertaking this film truly was for the visionary Nolan brothers and company. It's too bad that there aren't any commentary tracks from either Nolan, Thorne, McConaughey, or Hathaway, as they would have been greatly appreciated. The length may also be a bit daunting at first glance, but it definitely ends up being worth it.

The blu ray package is excellent and the included 70mm IMAX cell is a nice fan service. I happened to get a fun slide so I hope there aren't ones out there that are just black space. I like that the bonus features are included on a separate disc and you get the digital copy as well. Only downside to thus would be how quiet the movie can be at times so I don't recommend watching it on the go without headphones.

Interstellar has never looked better than it does in the 4K Bluray!

A sci-fi tour de force complete with the grittier side of space travel (think Aliens), staggering moral and ethical issues, a soundtrack that belongs in its own category, and performances by a cast that will convince you it could really happen.

I love this movie, saw it three times in the theater. Buying the movie for my personal collection was a no-brainer. I will not tell you what the movie is about, go watch the trailer. It's long and sometimes a little slow, however it had me glued to my seat the entire movie. If you're a slow person and do not find science & technolgy, time travel. space travel interesting, then this movie is not for you.

Great movie. 4K qualtirt was excellent using my xbox one as the player

saw it in movie theater first, almost as long as Dr. Zhivago, but with half the screenplay/talent/writing. This to me was a 2014 version of Kubrick's 2001 in 1968; which was just as convoluted. Looks great on my huge screen in my media room. If you are into a so-so yawner of a sci-fi and this is your thing, then go for it.

...this is good enough. The image on the new master is great. On my 65" TV, the IMAX shots looked insane!

This movie has it all! Corn and dust, and more dust and did I mention ghosts!? Yea it’s got that too. Oh and a young Tim-O-tee Chalamet too. Excellent movie for all lovers of corn and corn by products.

4K makes a great movie an outstanding movie I RECOMMEND this 100%!!!

Interstellar is a film that, by combining multiple facets of human emotions, transports you into an unparalleled journey to save humanity from itself. Christopher Nolan has done it again. He managed to craft a film which features a relevant and complex story, magnificent acting and beatiful cinematography that will keep you marveling at the screen for the full duration. One of the best films of the year.

Great movie and absolutely gorgeous on 4K you’ve got to have this one

The movie was already fantastic but the 4K makes it unbelievable

Backed by real science (for a change) this has got to be one of the best sci fi flicks since 2001: A Space Odyssey. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was the sound seemed to go over the top at intense moments in the film. They claim it was intentional, but it reminds me of poorly recorded albums that recorded so high that it introduced digital distortion. Would've loved to see it in 3D.

So glad this film is on 4k disc now, the images will blow you away!
