Nolan has become one of my favorite directors. His movies are phenomenal. Interstellar is no exception. Some of the most amazing visuals that actually look real. The sets and locations are amazing. The over arching theme of "love" is a little corny for my taste but the strength over the sci-fi portion of the story are enough to overshadow it. Love this movie.

I love this movie and is an excellent family movie.

I watched the Christopher Nolan film, Inception which came out in 2010 and it was glorious to view. HDR did not come out until 2014. Today I wanted to watch another Christopher Nolan film, Intersellar. This 4k disk unfortunately has HDR thanks to one of the industry titans. It is a case book in how to ruin a movie that won the Oscar for visual effect. Darks are too dark. Brights are too bright. The contrast and detail in the shadows is aweful. I have an LG OLED 74 inch and use an Oppo UHD 205 player. Both are near the top end of equipment available. The equipment is not the issue. While I understand the need for a new standard to deal with the latest technology that allows for millions of colors and a very high level of detail, the implementation should have been done a lot better. HDR, to me, stands for Hilariously Deteriorated Rubbish. My view is it is one big step in the wrong direction.

This movie was fantastic, great, cool and awesome.

This movie is far more than expected. If you have an interest in science, this will amaze and cause you to ponder some of the scientific unknowns that are still out there. Outstanding acting and great cinematography make this movie potentially plausible. Everyone should see this as it begs the question "How did we really get here, and where do we go next?"

I had seen this in the theater and enjoyed it very much but it left some questions in my mind so I purchased the DVD. In some respects you must follow closely to catch all the correlations of time spent to time during the action to the time that has passed on Earth. Twist in the end helps bring all together. Highly recommend if you like sci-fi.

I watched 5his movie four times and I loved it lots of si fy action

This movie is a must see for Christopher Nolan fans!

I haven't had a film blow me away like this since 2001 A Space Odyssey came out in the 60's. It's all based on science as we currently know it. That aside, this is a reference quality disk. The audio dynamic range is the greatest of any disk I've heard. The low bass shakes the house so much it gets a little scary. See it on as large a screen as you can!

One of the best films for the year 2014. The Film is shot beautifully with the use of IMAX cameras. The technicality of the film-shown in the bonus feature-is astounding with only use REAL LIFE theories. The contents in this product were: DISC 1 blu-ray feature film (AMAZING) DISC 2 special features on bluray(OUTSTANDING) DISC 3 dvd is awesome as well.

Great movie about space travel, and the fate of man

This has got to be one of the best modern SCI-FI films. The story was at a grand scale and really kept you on the edge of your seat. The acting and direction was very good. Movie had an excellent soundtrack as well. Christopher Nolan (who directed this film) has to be THE BEST DIRECTOR working today. Blu ray disc had excellent audio and video quality.

The premise started off interesting and steadily became an episode of Dr. Phil in space. It could have used more science less boo-hoo-ness.

I love nolan. Watxhing his movies guves a sense of joy like no other. Even at the bloated runtime the movie atill manages to captivate. Set aside a good 3 hours and enjoy

Interstellar is one of the greatest films ever made by one of the best directors in the business, Christopher Nolan. The fact that it also has the bonus content to offer makes this purchase even better. The acting is amazing, the graphics are out of this world and the cinematography is just as good as every other Nolan film. This film is a must buy!

A handful of movies in the last few years have been remarkable. This is an epic story with tears and excitement back to back. This story of loss, love and adventure keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is not heavy handed in any genre so we are free to interpret as we wish. This will definitely be viewed more then a few times in my home theater!

Interstellar is one of the best movies I've seen...ever! My only concern is that the disc I purchased is scratched because it skipped for a second or two at about the 1/2 way mark. Considering I haven't watched the movie since, I'm hoping it was an isolated incident. In any event, any movie lover should have this movie in their collection.

Another great film to show off your home theatre setup. The 1080p transfer is cut into both a widescreen 2.39:1 and an IMAX Blu-ray full-frame 1.78:1. These transitions are seamless, and add to the overall viewing experience. While a lossless 7.1 surround track would have been preferable, the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless soundtrack is about as good as it gets. With crisp, stunning visuals, and a detailed surround field, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended for any Christopher Nolan fan.

Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. Any movie that leaves your mind racing after its over has done its job. I'm a massive fan of Lost, X-Files and Fringe so this movie appealed to me greatly. Although when I decided to watch it I had NO idea what it was about. The acting is superb all around, the story arc is amazing.

Relativity is one of the main themes of the movie. Not in just time, space, or gravity, but also in the human heart. This film isn't terribly convoluted as it may seem at first, but it may take watching the ending again to understand and get the answers which are actually all presented. Not Nolan North's best work IMO, but a solid movie only marred a bit by it's Hollywood ending. Definitely worth a watch, maybe even a purchase if it's cheap. Only so that you may rewatch and dissect the ending scenerio.
