Best Buy had the lowest price for this 3 DVD set that included an exclusive (only to Best Buy) interview with Christopher Nolan and cast on the making of the movie. Though its intent was in the right place it's a flawed masterpiece and falls short of my expectations. Included with the extras is a Discovery Channel special which I found to be the most interesting extra about the nonfictional work that went into the film.

The movies of this genre in the last 10-15 years really do not paint a great picture of humanity's greed that always seems to destroy the planet. This has a great message/warning that I fear the mass population will ignore because human nature is selfish. Look at how political bodies still deny the existence of scientific evidence? I would like to see more movies like Contact which starred Jody Foster and Matthew M.

Time-bending science and some great special effects. A film that deserves watching several times to understand its full meaning.

Unknown benevolent beings try to save mankind from extinction and from ourselves. It is a good story with a few good twists. The final questions being what can make the world go round and what is stronger than the family.

My son and I both agreed after seeing Interstellar when it came out in the theaters that it was one to grab when it came out on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital format. I especially enjoy being able to take it with on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 "8" and hooking up my bluetooth stereo headset.

I was expecting a kinda star trek movie lol, but this is one is pretty close to reality...lots of theories... lots of science talk (2h42min)... can be boring if u are not interested into this topic or dont know what they are talkin abt... but very nice effects.... overall i liked it.

Excelent soundtrack, it keeps you at the edge of your seat, and the acting is great. I like the bonus BD disc material where they explain the science behind the black hole and gravitational fields. They made accurate visual special effects according to real scientific calculations.

I picked this up as a gift for my mom's sci-fi collection. We watched together as a family and even though the three of us have varying tastes in film, we all enjoyed this movie. The bluray presentation was top notch and the audio sounded great. A nice addition to your library!

I had high hopes for the movie with Christopher Nolan directing, a great cast, and what I saw on the trailer. The movie delivers. If you are a fan of Nolan's movies and sci-fi, space exploration movies (not including Gravity) like 2001 and Contact you should really enjoy this film.

Although I am not a big Matthew McConaughey fan, he did a great job in making me feel the pain his character felt when faced with the reality that he must go to space and probably never see his daughter again or stay on Earth and watch her future and that of the planet's erode away. Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors of this and the the last decade. His movie's are definately thought provoking movies!!!

Probably the hardest Nolan film to understand unless you are a science major. Once you see the film and go and research the material that was referenced in the movie you develop an appreciation for the source material. A lot different than his previous films but amazing as always!

Might take a few viewings to understand but i enjoy sci fi. Some might not like. Its a Christopher Nolan film if thats any help.

Very interesting movie. Cinematography is very good and special effects are done very well. Overall very entertaining and thought provoking film. I liked the cast and background music score as well. You will surely enjoy and will not be disappointed with this movie purchase.

Amazing movie!!! You forget your actually watching the movie, since you feel like your there! Really intense.. Keeps you at the edge of your seat.... Mind blown kind of movie.

Love this movie. I don’t even have a 4K player but nope to have one soon. The worker at the store talked about how great this movie was in 4K he sold me on the spot!

This is my all time favorite movie and couldn't wait for it to be on 4k, there are a few parts where the film shifts to full screen from widescreen and wow....I never thought I would say I wish the entire movie was shown like that, its breathtaking.

While there are plenty of people who hated Interstellar or hate Nolan films, this movie is a masterpiece! I'm not saying it is a 2001, but it deserves recognition! Great movie and looks awesome in 4k!

A good movie made even better with 4K.The ending is mind blowing.

I waited for this movie to be released for over a year, and I wasn't dissapointed. If you are a fan of great science bassed movies deffenetly pick this one up. The documentaries are the reason why you buy a movie like this. Do not download, you will not get the entire experience
