While a lot of this film tries to be based on actual science, there are several bits that things just get a little too out there. That's not to say that this isn't a great film. It has a lot of heart and a lot of science to satisfy the nerds in all of us. Great movie.

Very well acted and directed. Did not seem to be nearly as long as it was; good pacing. The visuals were stunning. There were some subtle points in the story line that required the viewer to pay close attention to keep from getting confused. Overall an excellent film.

Good movie. The soundtrack on this is great. If you have a decent home theater setup, this disc is a nice test for it.

I had seen this movie in blue ray. This is better to see in 4K

First of all the soundtrack! Are you kidding me? ICONIC! It just makes you think, wonder and desire more from your everyday life! Makes you want to do something more for your planet and loved ones. Just an ICONIC film! Well done!

This is a great sci-fi movie more so for the accurate depiction of astrophysics and less for the storyline. I was impressed that the movie enlisted an actual astrophysicist for the special effects and did not simply leave it up to the editors to fill in something.

One of the best movies I've seen since Inception! A true suspense and attention getter of a movie! All the acting is world class - amazing directing as well! Christopher Nolan is an absolute genius when it comes to making films! Amazing music by Hans Zimmer as well.

Space, worm holes, new planets, Hans Zimmer and Chris Nolan make it a must see. ever since I watched the movie contact, I haven't been able to find a good space movie and this is it. Yes it is almost three hours long but what movie isn't now a days. Go check it out.

If you like science fiction, you will like this movie, but you must pay attention. It is deep and you need to be able to wrap you mind around all the possibilities of space and time. This movie opens your mind to that and you realize that how we calculate time is much, much different than the universe does. Great acting and the Blue-Ray looks good on the right TV with the right sound system.

This is Christopher Nolan's most personal film, I think. It's absolutely a testament to great sci-fi; and it's such a beautiful film to watch. Sadly, it will lose a little of its epic scope on a smaller screen, but that won't take away from the experience.

I'm not a huge Matthew McConaughey fan, but he does seem to turn in some good to great performances, and this one was really good. Interesting take on the inter-stellar travel question, too. A definite must for Sci Fi fans and those who like movies about family.

Very much a modern 2001 but easier to understand the overall plot. In terms of scientific accuracy, very well done and what I was expecting out of the movie "Gravity" but didn't get. Not sure how Gravity got the accolades that Interstellar didn't. There are times dialogue is hard to hear - a second viewing helps with that. Solid acting and special effects. Music is awesome! Loud but awesome.

Matthew McConaughey is his usual likable self and the premise of a dying earth is not hard to buy in this interesting and entertaining sci-Fi flick. Special effects were excellent and the robot characters with human characteristics were a novel touch. Don't know how much of the science was correct but the story kept me interested, and this was a long movie. I will watch it again.

One of the visually stunning sci-fi films I've ever seen.

Interstellar is one of the best movies released in a long time. Excellent acting, story telling and visuals. I highly recommend this movie and while some of the science might be confusing for younger audiences it remains appropriate for all members of your family.

Really enjoy Matthew McConaughey. Another good job. My only disappointment was that the DVD is not offered in 3D. What a missed opportunity! Sure didn't see where this movie went. Great twist. Made me want to watch it a couple more times to catch the full impact.

Story content a bit on the technical side of physics/space travel, but story is told in layman's language that can be understood by most audiences, and will need viewing more than once to comprehend it all. Includes Blu-ray and UV digital copy at a great price.

I wasn't sure if I would like it, since I'm not usually a fan of "space" movies. I bought it because my friends couldn't say enough good things about it, so I thought I would give it a try. It's a very good movie, well made, and well worth your time and money.

This is a great movie if your into a slow beginning and pay attention to the movie as it rolls out. Its incredible about this age issue when you go out into space for a long period and when you come back decades could have gone by or even centuries. I enjoyed it.
