If I could give this a zero. This should not be offered or stored in stores. I've been a mentrual disc user for a little over a year. I switched to a disc after having extremely long, heavy, and painful periods and have tried a few different options. In a pinch, I purchased this disc because it was reusable and that is my preference. If I could have this removed from shelves I would. First, there are no instructions for how to properly sanitize and clean this product before and in between usage. It's dangerous to assume people will know, especially young women who are not familiar with similar products. Second, the packaging of this product makes it impossible to fully unbend. It does not fit well and form a circle. I boiled this for 5 minutes based on the instructions of a different product altogether, and this disc still did not correct it's shape. Third, the rim of the disc is too thick and too hard. I've had thicker discs with softer material and thinner discs with similar material, but this combination makes it extraordinarily painful to insert and position, even after lubricating with water on the heaviest day of my flow. Last, the disc does not stay in position. Because of the oval shape, instead of circular, and the hard rim, it does not stay in place well and is ineffective. This product should be removed from all stores and the makers should do some serious reengineering if they want to continue to sell.
