The acting is mediocre and the multiple plot lines are predictable that end in a cliff hanger style! How ever The visual effects more than make up for it in the scenes that people would watch this kind of movie for! If you have kids that are at that "I love tornados" age ( We all were at one point) then this will be thier favorite movie!

I love natural disaster movies and this was a good movie with lots of tornado action

I live in Oklahoma and personally went through the May 20th tornado event. This movie does a great job being as accurate as possible while filming a fictional storm. I'm also a bit of a weather nut, and it was nice to see that the meteorological theory in the film is actually based in science instead of some crazy science-fiction. This brought back all the memories of that terrifying weekend, but I loved how it ended and how it shows that we are a strong people who can survive anything. The only drawback is Richard Armitage's weird American accent. He tries, but it's so obviously not Oklahoman that it's just comical. Still, though, I don't mind watching him ;)

The movie itself was good and the story along with the characters while you are watching it. It really feels like you're there it had breath taking moments and spectacular action I enjoyed watching this movie and I'm sure your family will to and if you haven't seen it go buy it.

I had watched the first 2 minutes of this movie and it started out wild! I watched this with my wife after we came back from going out to miniature golf and we made it through the whole movie. And if we did that then that means that it was good! It's been a long while since a twister movie was made but this one was more scarier in my opinion. A Must See!!

If you are looking for a good old disaster movie, this is a great choice. It has lots of action, drama and comedy all rolled in one. It also has a story about a dad and his two sons who have kind of lost touch with each other after the death of his wife / mom. It takes a disaster to reunite them and realize how important they are to each other.

Good deal but not a fan of this movie, it didn't feel real.

Movie is good flix. Decent amount of action. Some scenes don’t make sense but it’s all in good fun. Picture quality is great. Did not come with digital code.

I’m a fan of cheesy storm movies. I grew up scared of tornadoes, loved Night of the Twisters with Devon Sawa, and this movie of course has some cheesy effects and overacting but the graphics are great and it’s suspenseful as well. Also somewhat sad knowing it actually happened in Joplin.

Yup this was a spiraling adventure from start to finish. The additional add of the two viral rednecks has social media spot on. The issue I had was cellphones they all had them but no one used them for maps or gps. Funny how people forget the use of tech in films.

This is a very enjoyable movie. It offers entertainment which is what a movie is supposed to do it has some tense moments and it's got a good plot line. If you want to spend some time in front of the TV and take your mind off of your problems this would be a good movie to do it with.

When I first saw this movie, I had reservations due to one particular actress that is also in The Walking Dead. I was wrong it is actually good. Very action packed moments and if you can find this on sale for a couple of dollars who can say no?

I sat down to watch this movie with very low expectations. I thought it was going to be cheesy and a Twister meets The Day After Tomorrow ripoff, but it wasn't. It was a funny, exciting movie and waaaaay better than I expected.

This film pretty much delivered what I was expecting - a disaster movie with eye-candy special effects and just an adequate plot. The movie has its moments drama-wise, and the Blu-ray has a great transfer and surround sound.

The movie was a little slow in the first 15 or so minutes, but once the "Characterization" was established it really took off. The last 30 minutes will keep you on the edge of your seats. Not bad when looked as a whole movie.

This movie was fun to watch. It reminded me a lot of the old twister movie but with newer special effects and better plot line. Many aspects were based off of real storm chasing so the realism in this movie is good too.

I have always enjoyed disaster films, no matter how silly the characters or acting might be but this felt like i was watching a better version of a syfy movie with good special effects and realism on Blu-ray.

Pretty good movie, kept me entertained throughout the movie, I read it was a lot like twister, well ok, somewhat. Lately watching a movie that is different is a good movie. The special effects were great as well.

A sort of compilation of previous disaster movies only with up-to-date awesome CGI effects! Plot was fairly basic but the effects kept you on the edge of your seat. They get better and better every couple years!

This is a fun action disaster movie. While the plot is nothing new, the action and effects keep you watching. It could be called an updated Twister. With the big effects, Blu-ray is the way to go for this one!
