It was very good. I like the way they took several fairy tales and weaved them together. Fresh new idea from Hollywood.

If you like musicals, this is for you. I did think that there was a bit too much music going on and not enough story.

Into the Woods movie is a good musical, and it closely follows the original play. Not your typical fairy-tale, movie.

The acting is superb, and the characters are interestingly new enough that you stay engaged, but follow the fairytales enough it has familiarity. I really like the film style too, it allowed the sense of fantasy to be upfront.

Only gave it 4 stars because it differs from the original stage version, but a good musical none the less.

Careful the tails you tell children will listen.after seeing the play on Broadway. I was a bit worried over a Disney telling of Into The Woods. No worries. Great telling of the Tales. Super picture,Sound and lessons learned.

They hacked up what should have been the second half of the play, but at least they kept it mostly true to the play.

Very funny, I laughed alot watching this movie. If you enjoy quirky comedy you'll like this movie.

Simply worth the purchase to hear the Meryl Streep song that was cut from the film written especially for her. A new Sondheim song, what a treat! Sound quality was phenomenal as well as picture quality. Highly recommend!

Awesome movie, a little dark for kids. Definitely recommended to people that enjoy musicals and are fans of Disney!

The movie has great performances all around, memorable music and high production values. Interesting story that takes a dark turn in the second half and my turn off some viewers. The blu ray is top notch with fine extras.

This movie is not just another Disney movie it goes beyond the fairy tale and gets more into the behind the scenes. I just love the idea of Johnny Depp and Meryl Streep, Tracey Ullman and Chris Pine all in the same movie.

I didn't know it was a musical but I still enjoyed it. Great cast, great music, and I loved the spin on the story.

I am still torn over which version I prefer...the Disney version or the Broadway version with Bernadette Peters...

This is great movie. The kids love it and it ties all your favorite stories into one big movie to see the creators idea of how these characters intermingle during the show. I love it and my kids really enjoyed it too

It's Disney so you know you're in for a good time. One to watch with the family or if your just into musicals.
