I thought, this being a musical before it was a movie, that it wouldn't work as a movie. My brother and I actually liked it a lot better than the play!

Really enjoyed this movie. Good laughs & most of all the songs selected for each actor/actress that sings. 5 out of 5 stars. Recommended for favorites. Thanks.

This is a wonderful screen adaptation of one of Sondheim's greatest creations. Especially astonishing that Meryl Streep did her own singing as did Chris Pine.

Saw this in the cinema, and i really liked it. So i bought it so i can watch it again and again. Highly recommended to those who like movie musicals!
