Love this but some points little red riding hood gets annoying

Saw this at the theater with my daughter and was surprised by some of the twist and not so happy endings. Soundtrack is Broadway-esque and enjoyable.

I think that it was an excellent movie in my mind to watch

Sondheim's classic Broadway musical, Into the Woods, transitions to film in this brilliant version, maintaining everything that made it a treasure.

Was not aware the dialogue is almost entirely sung when I popped this in the player. Not that the actors did a bad job, it was just a bit much by the end of it. Appreciated the Grimm readings of certain plot elements, though, and the production design was amazing.
