A decent Walt Disney musical film All actors do their part, nothing stellar.

Some people would think this movie is just childish because it's fantasy. I loved the story and the details in the scenery. Meryl Streep once again delivers an incredible role. I think you'll find it entertaining and attention grabbing.

good concept of merrying a musical with stories we grew up with. The interaction of the stories and characters was intriguing as well as the stars who were in them that could actually sing and perform.

INTO THE WOODS is an incredible theatre piece that has taken too long to be put on film. However , the wait was well worth it as the cast and direction are superb ! Not for everyone , but the script and music present a terrific morality play ( and dilemma ) . Be careful what you wish for because sometimes wishes come true but not free....

I LOVE MUSICALS!! I saw this ppy when I was a kid and i loved it and even though i think some of the stuff couldve been a little better i still think the movie was pretty cool and with catchy tunes.

I have never been a big fan of musicals, and the first trailers for "Into The Woods" didn't reveal anything about it being a musical. That said, I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this movie.

I was lucky enough to see this musical on Broadway years ago, and this version did it proud. Some story changes didn't hurt the film. All the actors did a great job, and made this very enjoyable.

Definatly one of my favorite musicals. Especially considering Im not usually a fan of them. Do think they could have shortened it a little, starts to drag towards the end but overall good movie

This production of the well known Broadway show is top notch and is well sung. Warning to parents though, despite the PG rating there are some thematic elements that might give some people pause.

If you love musicals this movie is exactly what your going to get. I loved it and my children did to especially that they love Disney and musicals. Im happy to add it to my bluray collection.

Absolutely love the soundtrack to this film. Heads up: it is a musical if you were unaware. Friend took me to see it and I fell in love with it. I am so happy it has both a Bluray and digital copy as I can watch it anywhere now. Highly recommend this film to any family with even a hint of love for fairy tales or musicals.

I did not know what to expect with this movie, and it was nothing I would have expected. Very different take on some old fairy tales but overall a very good movie. Chris Pine is hilarious.

Into the Woods has a great cast to add to the fun fairy tale stories... Yes stories... Spoiler alert, sorry, but it has several fairy tales creatively intertwined in this musical movie! I won't spoil which ones, but you may not catch each one as some are obvious, but others are more subdued. Enjoy an evening of songs and fun!

This is an excellent movie adaption of the stage play. I admit I prefer the stage version, but that may be just because I saw it first. Obviously the special effects on stage couldn't equal those in the movie, but I'm not sure if they added or detracted from the story. Either way, I was completely satisfied with the movie.

Got this to watch with my wife. We'd missed it in the theater. Great blend between what I think of as a musical and a fantastical story. I loved the way the stories were twisted together.

The mixture of different fairy tale stories and how they all worked together was great. All performers were excellent with not only the acting, but adding the singing also. It definitely brought back great memories of mother reading childhood stories. The way they all intertwined and complimented each other worked great.

A well done real world presentation of the musical. With comedy, conflict, love, and the agony of loss. Several of our favorite childhood fairy tales brought together in the back ground to the story of the baker and his wife. Things to be learned and decisions to made. Watch as the story unfolds with it twists and turns.

Had seen the play, but the movie was even better. Cast was excellent and it was interesting to see how the author had woven familar fairy tales into a story that connects them all.

INTO THE WOODS was absolutely fantastic! Every actor in the film held his/her own. I was disappointed Johnny Depp had such a short role, but he did a great job! I would highly recommend this film to anyone who is a lover of Disney, fantasy, musicals, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick, and fairy tales.

This was a good movie with a fantastic cast. However, it was very heavy on the music so you will really have to love musicals to get into it. If you do then this is the musical for you.
