Bought the movie because I never had the chance to see in the theaters.. Was a little nervous about buying without knowing what it was, but cute family movie!

Only giving this 4 stars because of the changes from the Broadway production. i would have given it 5 stars if they had of stayed truer to the stage version.

This was a musical fantasy, worthy of all it's praise. Sometimes with big budget films, the trailer's are better than the film itself. This was definitely not the case with this one.It had depth, substance, music, laughter, and lots of fun. Buy and watch it over and over again.

Very enjoyable family entertainment, although the ending might be a bit scary for small kids. Oh, and Johnny Depp's involvement is very short but worth it.

A film version of the Broadway musical. It has something for everyone! Some quirky comedy for the kids with some adult humor thrown in for the grown-ups.

I was expecting a movie more along the lines of Maleficent but watched more or less a musical. I watched it and thought it was good for a type of musical.

My kids loved it but personally I thought it had a little too much singing in it. My daughter has watched it several times but once was enough for me.

Good movie, exciting songs, very long though. Good acting by the entire cast but don't watch if you're tired, you will pas out due to the long movie.

Liked the movie and wanted to add to my collection. May not watch it for a while so cannot comment of condition of bluray or content.

Although the movie deletes some songs (and plot points) from the stage musical, I believe it makes for a better experience of the message that it gives. The performances are top notch and the lush orchestrations and sumptuous visuals make broadway to film a no brainer.

I found the acting very good. I was also surprised to see that the actors can sing. I enjoyed the flow of the movie , as well as, the content. It was a pleasant surprise to have some comic relief in a musical as well. Overall, I thought the movie was done very well!

I am not a fan of musicals, but this one kept my attention. It was interesting to see how they intertwined some classic Disney movies to make this.

It is a very good movie with great characters and great costumes and make up.. I would recommend it to anyone to see.. More than once actually!

Into the Woods is an amazing movie, the story is unique, and the songs are addicting. It is worth buying just to watch Johnny Depp's portrayal of the Big Bad Wolf. I loved how they brought so many characters into one epic story. Another great movie made by Disney.

I think the film was done nicely. However, not knowing owing the story plot before watching I was surprised at some twists to the classic tales.

This movie is great for the entire family. A musical retelling of some of the best fairy tale stories of all time, with an all-star cast to boot.

Good musical score, and the adapted Wolf song is alright. Only real complaint is the fact they didn't cast an older girl to be Red Ridding Hood.

Great film to watch with the whole family. I like how they take the whole fairy tale into something so different then what we are use to seeing

A complex work by Stephen Sondheim, the lyrics and music are equaled by Marshall's staging. The Woods themselves become part of the cast, which also includes numerous heavyweights. Flawless.
