I had the DVD version, and was relieved when I heard they were going to put it on Blu-Ray as well.

Quircky and offbeat...it's Sondheim at his best.

If you are into offbeat and fun this a great choice for a night in. It feels like you're watching an actual stage production, which you are, and the acting and costuming is excellent. This is retelling of fairytales meshed succesfully together as only the likes of Sondheim or Roald Dahl could accomplish.

This movie is a classic. Great story and great message. It was a long production, but every minute was enjoyable. A must watch.
