TurboTax is the gold standard for tax prep software! Period. The Q & A guides you through all the entries that it would insert into the tax forms.

The TurboTax product is EXCELLENT, as always, but the download took forever to become available. I ordered the download online instead of the CD because it said the product would be ready to download in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the download was not ready until over 10 hours later, so it was very inconvenient and frustrating. Should have picked up the CD from my local Best Buy, which is only 10 min. from my home.

Do NOT buy this expecting to use the CD key to file online. This CD key will NOT e-file your state return. When it says Federal + E-File + State it only means Federal is E-file..... State is prep only and mail the return.

I've been using TurboTax and its previous iterations for decades. It has always performed as expected and I feel is a good value for the price.

If I could rate it less than a 1 I would. This was a digital download that try as I might would not activate. Spent over an hour on the phone with TurboTax support, finally went back to Best buy spent another couple of hours trying to get the app to work. Ended up leaving my brand new laptop with the Geek Squad for a day. Finally got it activated. Kudos to the Geek Squad crew. Turbo tax not so much

Easier to do it online through TurboTax. Software programs are becoming obsolete

I tried H & R Block version last year. I prefer TurboTax

So difficult to set up and use. I purchased and my husband downloaded to his account. What a hassle. Did finally get it working, but took a lot of time and frustration.

Make sure that when you purchased a download item its what you want because i purchased the wrong software and there is no returns or refunds. Just threw $80 in the thrash.

Couldn't down load it. Then bought it off intuit site. Best Buy would not refund it. Bad experience.

I thought a difference between Deluxe and Premier was that BOTH federal and state included e-file. It doesn't. TurboTax is easy to use, but that doesn't out-weight the fact that I'm out $50; $20 for state e-file fee, and $30 for the upgrade from Deluxe to Premier. (I now know that Deluxe would have been enough for my family; we don't have investments.)
