This brush is much better for sensitive teeth. The bristles are softer and the brush head diameter is smaller than the default Ultimate Clean brush head for the io series (included in the package with brush base). The Gentle Care brush head doesn't seem as abrasive and I can maneuver it easier. This allows me to clean my teeth better. Since the toothbrush's price point is quite expensive, the manufacturer should include at least one Gentle Care head in the package instead of all Ultimate Clean heads. Currently the company offers only two different brush heads for the new io series introduced in 2020, the default Ultimate Clean and the Gentle Care. I also wish that Oral b would offer the Gentle Care brush head in the black color to match the black toothbrush base, as it looks tacky to have a white brush head on a black base.

The io gentle brush works really well for people who need a gentle brush. It cleans well and makes brushing easy. No sensitivity or bleeding gums. My family also uses these with their io. Best Buy, please keep these in stock.
