Initiallyi thought this was going to be great. I plugged it in and went through the set up and it connected right away, no problem. The next time i went to use it, it was stuck in video cast mode for some reason even though i didn’t try to go into that mode. After several minutes of trying to figure it out it finally just started to work. Okay, glitch i thiought. It happens. But since then we can’t past the video cast setup screen. No amount of troubleshooting has yielded a fix so i guess it’s going back. Bummer.

I use this to connect a fire cube to my projector. I haven’t tested its max range but it work flawlessly for my needs. It was very easy to set up and transfers audio and video with little to no degradation. Not having to run the hdmi cable all the way to the projector saves alot of time and effort.

We've been using it a month. Setup was easy and practically instantaneous. Sound & video are great for our purpose. No noticeable latency and it doesn't interfere with other wireless devices. The provided cables seem very stout, but I'd have liked them to be more flexible and slightly longer.

Easy to use and set up. Mine transmits the signal from upstairs to downstairs opposite ends of the house. So far it works great. 4 starts due to the price.

Fantastic---Needed to run an HDMI cable from a video source to a large screen TV that is 46' feet away at the opposite end of the media room. Wanted to avoid running a 75' cable around the perimeter of the room on the floor etc. This wireless HDMI solution works great, very simple and easy to install.

Seems to introduce about 250ms of lag at 1080p 60Hz. That should be about half the bandwidth of 4k30 which I didn't even attempt with it failing at 1080p60. Maybe for a very specific use case like static signage or PowerPoints it would be fine.

Good and simple to use. Trusted name brand and the unit has high quality.

Used in this case for connecting an Android driven A/V conference device to a ceiling mounted projector. This A/V device is stored in a powered down state, as is the IOGEAR transmitter which is mounted to it, and used several times a week. The beauty of this wireless solution is how seamlessly connection makes immediately upon applying power. It's used for streaming video conference sessions which last one to two hours. It's smooth and consistent. Great choice.

Ok. I didn’t have much choice. Two years ago I bought one similar. And loved it. I could power two tv’s off my one cable box. You can’t buy that anymore. This one only does one tv. Lame. For that you get 2 stars. And it’s the same company so don’t even go there.

Very great hdmi signal puts out 4k signal. Steady signal. With long rsnge

This is my third or fourth version of iogear video transmitters. This one is the sexiest looking, however it is much less reliable. The video didn't always sync up and while playing a PlayStation game it would randomly cut out and my video would go blank. I called tech support and they told me that it should be plug and play. They told me the device shouldn't have the complications that I was having with it. So I took it back to Best buy today and bought another one. Hopefully this second one will work better.

Works splendidly, ease installation and set up. Im using it with a samsung smart TV and an input splitter. It has no issue with lag or graphics when gaming or streaming from laptops. Would recommend.

It worked well w/PC to our projector. Would not work with the HDMI out on our soundbar. Ending up returning it.

Works as advertised. Sends a clear signal across part of my home. Easy to set up. Using it to transmit outdoor cameras signal to my TV in the living room.

No problems with it after a few weeks. The wireless HD cable has worked flawlessly.

The lag is pretty slow even if right next to eachother, expensive and NOT 4k its 1080p scaled to 4k

Bought 4 of these. They work in the same space and are lights out!

Drops signal all the time. Great for presentations. Poor for movies
