The bundled software caused my computer to experience a kernel panic. Once uninstalled, everything was fine. So while I recommend the product itself, I do not recommend using the software. The drivers have not been updated since their Windows 7 days and it's unnecessary bulk to begin with. Otherwise, this adapter works as expected. I have only experienced one connection issue but suspect there was interference from a neighbor in my building. I do wish the signal stretched through my entire apartment, but I was aware of the distance restrictions prior to making my purchase and have made it work to suit my needs. For those interested, I primarily use this item with a JBL Charge 3 speaker.

While the purchase process through BestBuy.com was extremely painful for reasons that aren't germaine to this review, I have been extremely pleased with this bluetooth USB transmitter. I use it on my desktop, since the MB doesn't have a built-in BT transmitter. I wanted something that I could use my BT headset with to listen to music or videos or youtube late at night without disturbing anyone in the house. It works like a champ. It was an extremely easy install and has worked flawlessly every time I have connected with my headset. It was available at a reasonable price and they even price-matched the MicroCenter price. So, I'm very pleased with this. The one thing I really haven't tested is the range. Our home office/computer room is relatively small, so I cant' get very far from the transmitter. As such, I can't report about range. For what I need it to do, it's been great. One point that is not a complaint, more of an observation. This is one tiny little USB device. If you ever drop it, it will be a real bugger to find!! But, that's a good thing too. It doesn't take up much space at all. It seems to be of sturdy construction. It was a tight fit getting it into my hub. But, once the suckers in there, it definitely won't fall out. It just takes a firm push to get it to seat into the mating connector. All in all, I would recommend this device. It's been a good purchase.

I've been using this for about 4 weeks and I'm very pleased with this. The driver CD is a Mini CD ( I don't recommend putting it in a vertical or slimline drives). I'm able connect and disconnect my phone to my PC in just 5 seconds, I also like that it has Bluetooth 4.0. One thing I don't like about it is that when I want to unplug the adapter from my PC, it tends to get stuck in the USB port , so I have to wiggle it for about 10 seconds before it comes out. Overall, this is really good for the price and I was surprised that it does more than I expected.

This IOGEAR 4.0 Bluetooth Micro Adapter was the cheapest on the market and does everything I need to connect, for example my keyboard, mouse and Bluetooth speaker too. There is absolutely no problem at all with this Bluetooth adapter.

This product works great as far as creating a bluetooth connection to my Windows 7 PC. My only complaint is how TINY this adapter is (I know, for tech, smaller is usually better, but I think it might be easy to lose if I have to remove it...).

I needed this for work as it is easier to use wireless headset that wired. it works just as expected and there were no problems installing drivers on our closed environment.

I gave it 4 stars only because I inserted the adapter 1st when I should have downloaded the cd 1st. Bought 2 of them. Bought one 1st & I was happy with it, so bought another one for a gift.

Works great on my windows 10 pc. Had no problems setting up.

I was able to connect all of my bluetooth items with no issues.

distance covered is about 30 ft. not super. pulling it out from the usb socket is a bit tough as the thing locks up quite tightly in there.

I had the previous generation of this adapter and it worked very well also. This installed with the generic windows drivers so there was no need to go through the trouble of installing product specific drivers. I like that for ease of use. I don't have to keep a copy of specific drivers to set it up with another device if I want to. I bought this specifically for compatibility. I wanted to use devices that leveraged the newer bluetooth 4.0 standard. My xbox one bluetooth controller specifically wouldn't work without hardware to support the newer bluetooth standards. After installing the newer bluetooth adapter it worked seamlessly. This adapter was a price friendly way to upgrade a few older computers that I was still using that didn't have the support for the newer bluetooth standards built in.

Purchase this for our son and to our delight and his it work perfectly the second he used it we were thrilled with it and thrilled with the price couldn't be any happier. And thank goodness the salesman knew exactly what we needed.

I purchased the Iogear Bluetooth adapter to use with my desktop and a Logitech - Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Adapter. The fist issue I had was to get the driver to install on my Windows 10 desktop. After a couple of tries I found that the version of the driver to use was denoted as Windows 8. Once installed, the pairing to the Logitech adapter was fast then realized that the desktop was treating the connection as a wireless headset. It's not a big issue except that I haven't been able to find a way to use an equalizer for the sound when playing music. I found some success using VLC media player to modify the sound when watching movies which works out very good. I'm not disappointed with the product since eliminating speaker wires were one of the objectives. For the time being I'll just use my table when streaming music, which sounds very good, until I find an application to provide an equalizer with my desktop.

I attached the Bluetooth adapter to my computer and is working perfectly and let me connect al the other devices without problem

Easy set up. Worked as advertised. So far, so good.

Great for the price no complaints after two months

I bought this item because I wanted to add Bluetooth to my house computer (Win 7 64-bit) for headphones and more transfer options. I bought it on sale so for the price it was worth a shot, I was not disappointed. Installed the software first, then installed adapter. Works perfectly. Connected my headphones, cell phone, tablet without an issue. Very happy.

this product works great and is very easy to install, you only have to plug and play. The performance is very high in quality

I don't use a smart phone and I picked up a flip that had a camera but I needed a way to get the photos off the phone. My only choices were bluetooth or email. Since I don't use data, I needed bluetooth. I plugged this into a windows 7 machine and it worked without a hitch. Installed the drivers, I don't remember if I used the disc or the download from the manufacturer, but whichever it works great. I discovered the phone and the phone did the same for windows and tada, I was in business. Great and cheap fix.

This is great if you want bluetooth capabilities and you don't have them built in. This will give you bluetooth!
