This item was easy to install and allows me to share a keyboard, mouse, and monitor between 2 computers.

After returning the first one I purchased due to defects, the second one worked like a charm. Totally satisfied with this purchase.

This Iogear 2-Port USB KVM Switch with Audio #GCS632U presents itself well, but is functionally inadequate. When considering the selection of this switch I was impressed by the claim of combining two CPU's with one monitor/keyboard/mouse/speaker. I especially liked the inclusion of 6' cables with the switch to distribute support of the input/output hardware through the KVM. I selected my new Dell XPS with Windows 10 as Computer #! at the switch and my older Dell XPS with Windows XP as Computer #2 - a simple matter of plugging the respective cables into ports provided and clearly designated in the KVM. The Port #1 CPU comes on line fine, but toggling to the #2 CPU brings up bogish screens the like I've never seen before, and the Windows XP will not start-up beyond the title screen. Occasionally I can start-up the XP but only by gymnastics in the boot menus and never consistantly. Use of this KVM is frustrating and unsatisfactory. I'm presently seeking another switch for my application.

This connection is a real convenient two PC switch for my old PC and new PC.

I thought it would work more efficiently than it does, but it connects two computers to one keyboard, mouse and monitor.

I gave 4 it stars !!! Reason sometimes slow to switch from one PC to other.

Sometimes you have to repeat hitting the command key several times.

This is a back saver! No more swapping video, mouse and keyboard cables between two computer at one station!! Double click the "scroll lock" button is all it takes to swap between computers. Love it!!

I had an older version of this KVM switch and didn’t think I could find one to match , went into Best Buy and the floor specialist new exactly what I needed and got my device’s up and running again !!!!

I have Win 10 and Linux Mint systems connected. Connects easily. Switches quickly with two presses of "Scroll Lock". Supports my large VGA monitor, k/b, mouse & simple speakers. light shows which system is connected.

I use this product everywhere in our company and it is the easiest to setup and most reliable. It has the quickest response time by far over any other device I have used.
