This docking station is sleek and efficient. Great and easy to set up with two external monitors. This is a must have for a MacBook Pro.

I bought this docking station for my MSI Prestige 15. I connected one of my Dell UltraSharp U2414H monitors (1080p) via the Mini DisplayPort and the other monitor via the HMDI port. I also connected a keyboard and a wireless mouse in the USB ports.
All of these devices worked just fine when plugging them in; however, they all had a hard time reconnecting whenever I'd bring the laptop out of sleep mode. Sometimes the monitors wouldn't detect their source; other times the keyboard/mouse wouldn't power on. So I was constantly having to unplug and replug random devices back in, which really defeats the purpose/convenience of a docking station. Ultimately, I decided to bring it back to my local Best Buy.
I did some research to see if there was a better Thunderbolt or USB-C alternative, and it seems like most docking stations (even the higher-end models) have similar complaints. Maybe that perfect, reliable product just doesn't exist yet.
My only gripe with the design of this product is that it doesn't have a full-size DisplayPort... that would have been nice given the cords I have on hand.

The IOGEAR - USB-C Docking Station was a nice addition to my Mac Book pro. I have not tried all the ports. Be on the lookout for a follow up review.

This docking station works better than the docking station that I have at my office. Since I starting working at home in March 2020, I needed a docking station quickly, this was the only one available snd my local Best Buy and let me tell you, it was the best money I ever spend. Provides more USB ports and HDMI cords and allows you to have multiple screens to connect. A must have for your home office.

I got this on sale for $79 which is a great price for such a useful docking-station. Tried with USB External HDD and External HDMI Monitor and SD-Card. The cool thing is, if you have only 1 USB-C port, you can connect the power cable to this docking-station and connect the doc usb-c cable directly to your Laptop (this will charge your Laptop)

The router connected seamlessly between my modem and laptop. Since the laptop didn't have an Ethernet port or DVD player, this docking station greatly expands what I can do with the laptop.

If you are buying this to have an easy way to convert your laptop into a desktop, this gets the job done. That said, it is not without its flaws. First, the mini-hdmi port does not work. Like at all. Second, it cannot send multitask between VGA and HDMI if you were wanting to go that option. finally if your USB C (Thunderbolt) connector is on the wrong side, you will have cord issues. I'm just glad I got it on sale because otherwise I would have more issues with it.

I'm currently using this to dock my 2015 MackBook (almost all docking reviews only mention Mackbook Pros) and I'm really pleased with it. There is no lag or issues that needed to be trouble shooted when initially installed. I did buy a laptop fan for the overall setup just in case, but haven't experienced over-heating.

This Dock is an essential! Especially if your are leaving an older MacBook Pro with full connectivity. You are dropped down to 4 Thunderbolt3 ports. You will need a way to connect as well as keep your Mac aerated. See Stock Photos! Everything you need is present and it just works in usual Apple fashion. Product is attractive and you will love to add it to your MacBook Pro. D. DNC's

Just had for one day, so take with a grain of salt, but this product is excellent. Seems high quality, has rubber strip, one of the few that allows laptop to sit on top of, cable is on the CORRECT side for Lenovo USB C port, almost all ports face the back for tidy cord management. Only ask would be to put the audio jack on the back too!

When this thing is working, it's a great time saver. The ability to plug one port into my MacBook Air and have my printer, external monitor, webcam, and speakers all connected is really helpful. Problem is, sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't. It takes repeated unplugging and re-plugging to get it to work when it's not working. Sometimes that's one time, sometimes it's like ten times.

I got this because I wanted to be able to use my Apple Cinema Display with my new MacBook Pro. Very easy setup. Plug the USB cables, the power cable, and the display cord all into the dock and then the USB C into the MBP. Bam, 5 seconds later, I'm set up and good to go. Highly recommend this product. Works perfectly for me!

This docking station has USB type C connection for its power. I have a new laptop using the same for its power. The only set back for me is that the power connection to the laptop is on the right corner leaving the power/main connection from this docking station way to short. The manufacturer should make this cable longer. I have not been able to get a USB type C extension cable so the laptop cannot sit on the top of the docking station as designed. Other than that it meets my needs.

I liked it so much, I ended buying two - one for each of my homes. Allows me to move effortlessly between the two homes (1800 miles apart). I have two large monitors an printers at each site - I simply just carry my laptop with me.
