I had this connected to my iphone and ipad and the Issues: 1) No volume control. The "+" and "-" buttons on the top of unit was skipping to the next track on my playlist. 2) Volume is SUPER low when connected to the iphone. Volume is controlled by the iphone and ipad. With the iphone the volume was too low, more like 30 watts vs 60 that the unit can produce. 3) with the ipad, the sound was much higher but at 40 watts vs 60 that the unit can produce. 4) battery life is poor. I lost power on a full charge (left it charging overnight) in three hours. Not sure if its a faulty unit but it was a huge dissapointment. It may work indoors where sound can bounce of the walls but not meant for outdoors. its a 1 star b/c i cannot control the volume and battery life.

Its bad when it can thump better than a sony xb300..rofl. Well for my music anyhow. I ended up giving it to my wife for her music listening.
