Best Bang for your buck

No Bargain Here: It Sounds Terrible

Instantly I realized why was $80: it sounds terrible compared to most Bluetooth speakers in this range. You get the long battery life and rugged design, but after 10 minutes of listening to the radio or streaming from my phone I knew that it was not meant to be. The highs are ragged and lows and mids are muffled. I am a low budget audiophile, but I didn't expect too much from this, just something to have in the yard in the summer and to take camping. I was irritated by the poor sound quality though and knew eventually I would split it open with an ax or leave it at the bus stop for some kid to annoy riders with. Easy return to BestBuy (who have really been awesome during the pandemic) and I bought a worksite radio/speaker for $200 instead.
