I bought this for when I’m in my backyard. The sound is great and the frame is built to last.

The ION Audio potable speaker is a versatile system that is able to perform plenty of functions. First it works great as an AM/FM radio. I had no issues connecting to any of the local radio stations in the area. The reception was very clear. It also comes with ports for standard microphones to be able to plug into for an audio speaker. This could work well at school functions or other outdoor venues where you are trying to have a speaker instead of shouting. As far as Bluetooth goes, I easily connected to my Apple devices. It is very intuitive to connect. I simply pushed the button on the front of the speaker to activate Bluetooth. Then I searched my phone for the device and I was connected. I didn't even have to be close to the device to have it work. I walked all around my house and didn't lose connection. If I could I would give it an extra half star. My main criticism is that there is no EQ with the speaker. The bass is strong but at times the higher frequencies seem a bit weaker. Also if you have some softer music on and the volume is up, the white noise can be noticed. And if you turn everything all the way up, it can distort a little bit but it really isn't that bad. These are a little picky, but I felt they were worth noting. For what it is designed to do though, it is a great system. It is lightweight and has a built in handle to make it easy to carry. It is build solidly too. It is nice and sturdy. The built in battery lasts a long time too, so there shouldn't be any issue there. I ran it for a day and it still didn't die on me. It is also waterproof. So for an outdoor barbecue, fun by the pool, tailgating, a day at the beach, or camping, the system should work great.

Good, long lasting battery. Bluetooth range is pretty short. Pretty loud.

This is worth the price I paid for. It has clear quality when you’re far away from the speaker. You can still hear the bass even though it’s only 20 W.

I bought this to use at a civic meeting. The meeting room is large and it doesn't quite get loud enough even at maximum volume. The people in the back of room struggle to hear. The PA system is lightweight and that's why I chose it. The first time I used it, it took me a while to realize that you must press and hold the "on" button until the panel lights come on.

This is probably the best Bluetooth speaker we have owned. It has incredibly good sound and excellent battery life. Thinking about a couple for gifts!

Picked up for my church to use with some music for the fellowship ship hall (dining hall) during children's activities. Works great for that. I think it'd likely work fairly well as a tailgate speaker too. The battery lasts well for the price. It's a nice bonus that it has a mic input. We now use that feature more than any other. Works well for calling out bingo, directing traffic, and stuff like that.

Got this home and had it out of the box and connected in two minutes. Excellent sounds. Connect to multiple devices. Lightweight and very portable

This is the best mini boom box speaker, it is actually really loud and battery last a long time. Perfect for tailgates and mini parties.

Definitely worth the money. Built well and sounds good for a portable speaker. Only con is you can't play music while it's plugged in.
