Awesome speaker, does what it's suppose to do. The FM radio gives it that extra feature to use when not connected to any device. Connects to Bluetooth with ease. Holds a charge well. Didn't get a 5 star due to its handling capabilities when moving it around. Could use a strap of some sort. Other than that, great little speaker with great sound for the money.

We bought this for a our family reunion it was perfect. Good music sound able to talk using the microphone and the battery life is great. Once it's fully charged it will last a full day +. The Bluetooth was easy to connect as well using several different devices. Thinking about renting it out to friends with a security deposit of course - LOL

This is a compact speaker with big sound. It goes to high volumes without distorting. It weighs more than most speakers its size due to the rechargeable lead-acid battery that gives it such great run-time, but is still easy to move around. The audio quality is excellent, but don't expect audiophile performance; it is a single speaker after all. It is great around the house or for back yard or other small events.

I researched all the tailgater speakers before I bought the ION - Tailgater Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black. I wanted a bluetooth speaker that I could use for tailgating before concerts and sporting events. After much research I decided on this speaker and I am glad I did. I used it during our tailgate prior to Countryfest at a very crowded Gillette Stadium. There was music blasting everywhere as we set up our tailgate. When I turned on the Ion Tailgater it was game over! My music was all I could hear and it sounded awesome. I wasn't trying to take over the whole parking lot, just our area and the Tailgater did not disappoint! I only had it at about half volume and it was enough to mute any other music I could hear from adjacent tailgates. The sound wasn't distorted at all and I had no battery issues for the 6 or so hours I had it playing. The Bluetooth was simple to connect and anyone who had a phone at my tailgate was able to play dj. If I could give it 6 stars I would! For just over $100.00 bucks, I feel like I already got my monies worth. It's also great by the fire pit. No more dragging out the extension cord for the system I used to use!

This unit is just what I needed for my garage. Plug in or battery, Bluetooth, aux in and a radio. Even comes with a mic that I immediately hid from my kids! Has decent sound (better than most of the higher priced portable Bluetooth speakers). Plenty loud enough for the garage and driveway area. Can't beat the price for what you get!

Really good speaker for the money. Easy to use, plays well even when it gets turn up loud. It can be carried but has wheels in the back like a wheeled suitcase. It is big but sometimes you don't want a small speaker. Bluetooth pairs easily with my iPhone and my other family members as well.

This speaker goes pretty loud and its light weight as far as larger BT speakers go. It would be better if it had the ability to adjust the bass and treble. But for the price its a bargain. The battery last about 9 hours on a charge. Over all I am satisfied with this BT Speaker.

Brought this for my kids party and wow such an amazing speaker. Had no problems setting up Bluetooth and the sound was very loud. Battery lasted the entire day. Love the fact that we can travel with it. Great buy!

We were looking for speaker that was louder than the usual bluetooth speaker. We found it in the tailgater! It's super loud and great quality. Not to mention it's the perfect size and easy to move.

I will have to say I was a bit skeptical about this due to its size. I recently used this at my wedding ceremony which was outdoors and my guest as well as I was surprised of the sound and clarity of this speaker. Volume was not even played at its Max and it was pretty loud enough you were able to hear it with no issues. Plus that it is portable to take to tailgate party's as well as easy BT connection.

Great for anywhere, long battery life at loud volumes, blue tooth - great distance.. beach, pool, park in the house , in the shower - kicks butt.

This speaker surpassed my expectations. The battery life allowed us to use it in a setting with no electricity for the entire weekend. We used it outside and the sound wasn't lost in the open outdoors. The option for Bluetooth or AUX connection allowed flexibility with uses of various devices. I love the speaker and the kids love the microphone.

Purchased this product from BestBuy.com and had it shipped to store, because it was not available in store even after their website said that they had 3 in stock. Went to pick it up on the other side of the city 5 hours after I had received the text message stating that it was available for pickup. Waited 25 min. for them to find it and after opening I discovered that even though it seemed to be packaged pretty well, there were several minor scratches as though it had been used and repackaged. I did not bother taking it back as it seems to function properly and I will have my own scratches before too long anyways. I have 2 coworkers with this same Speaker, so I knew it was a great product. More than enough volume for the very loud work environment I am in. You will not find anything close to the Ion brand for anywhere near the price range that this speaker is in. Plenty of connectivity options, long battery life, High Volume capabilities, and the FM Radio works better than most inexpensive units that I have tried. If you don't want to spend $200 or more on a speaker in this class do not buy anything other than the ION.

I bought this for an outdoor party. The blue tooth speaker was pretty loud and quality of sound was good. It was easy to setup and play songs through bluetooth from my phone and laptop. The battery also lasted a pretty long time. It also came with the microphone, which can be used for Karoake. Overall happy with the product.

Nice Bluetooth speaker. we used it for our fourth of July party and it worked flawlessly. It is bigger than most portable speakers, but has good sound and great battery life. You can hook to any Bluetooth to stream your music and it also has a built in tuner to listen to local radio stations, and an USB to charge also.

My friends had a couple of these and I thought it would be useful. I picked this Tailgater up as a spur of the moment purchase. Good radio reception as well as usable with my iPod. I especially like the volume (good) and the portability- I haven't run out of charge yet. I am glad I bought this unit.

A tailgate speaker that is easy to transport holds a great charge and produces great sound!

I think this speaker is fantastic. It is durable, loud and not too heavy. The best part is, and the reason I bought it, is the 50 hour battery life. This baby runs for what seems like forever. The controls are simple to use. If you need a loud speaker for tailgating or parties this is one of the best options (for the price). I've seen other speakers that sound better, but most needed to be plugged in. While I can't affirmatively say nothing better exists, but at least from what Best Buy carries, you won't find better combination of portability, battery life, ease of use, durability in a loudspeaker for this price. I originally bought it just to tailgate at football games, but now that I have it, I've found a number of good uses for it. I use it all the time.

A little smaller than original ION rock block but perfect size for recreation use. Speaker is light compact and has GREAT sound. Lasts five hours plus. Keep the party going when other Bluetooth speakers are sitting on the shelf dead.
