Posted .Hello, Ion Audio Technical support here. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your PA. This unit is quite powerful, sporting a 15" woofer outputting 500 watts. A frequent mistake we see users make is neglecting to turn up the source volume as well as the main volume. This is accomplished by pressing the main volume knob in to toggle between your different sources. If you are listening to Bluetooth for example you will want to make sure that the main volume knob is not too loud (so that you don't damage your eardrums or the speaker) then you will want to make sure that the Bluetooth device's volume is at about 70-80% (to avoid clipping and distortion), you will then want to press the control knob in until you are on the Bluetooth source and turn that up to 80-90% or so. Once that is accomplished you can return to the Main volume knob and slowly turn it up until it reaches an acceptable volume. Posted .Hello, Ion Audio Support here. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your PA. It is important to properly Gain Stage with PAs. In other words, be sure that the source volume is at about 70%, next, checking the source volume on the speaker, keep it at around 50%, by pressing the control knob in to toggle until you are controlling the specific source you are listening to. By default the control knob will be set to control the main volume which controls all of the inputs. Once you have a clear signal by adjusting the source's volume, you should then be able to turn the main volume up without any distortion. Note that plugging a source other than a mic into a mic input can damage the preamp as mics are amplified at a greater level. If the Mic does not appear to be working you will first makes sure it is plugged in and turned on, and the main volume is not at zero, then press the knob in until you have Mic as the input, then turn the knob up and try gently tapping on the Microphone. You should receive a signal if both the mic volume and main volume are turned up. Did not hold up in Texas summer

My guess is it could not withstand the Texas heat. Shut down after changing music sources and had to let rest before playing again. Will be returning this product.

Posted .Hello, Ion Technical support here. We are very sorry to hear that you are not pleased with the volume on this speaker. What is often missed is source volume vs Master volume or vice versa. First make sure the Main volume is at 10-20% When connecting a Bluetooth device you will want to be sure that the Source volume is not too loud, set the BT device's volume at about 65%, then press the control knob until it says BT, make sure that the volume is at about 75%. You should be able to hear the music being played through the speaker now. Press the control knob until it returns to the main volume adjustment. Now you can turn the speaker up to your desired loudness. if it is still too low, you can turn up the Bluetooth device's volume, as well as the source volume on the Total PA Glow (although I do not recommend having the Bluetooth device or the source volume at 100%).
