This game is epic. Use of a classic game engine from the 90s that has been tweaked and updated for today's gaming. Amazing weapons and sounds and graphics. Excellent voiceover work from this femme fatale with LOTS of guns. Not for kids. profanity and violence/gore. I've imported this months ago from the UK before the physical version from Limited run was released in the U.S. The artwork from the the European version is much much better.

Classically-driven, insanely fast-paced, pixelated, Duke Nukem’ style shoot em’ up with a female protagonist! Need I say more? Makes you wonder if Shelly is Duke’s daughter or perhaps his female clone produced during his glory days. Great to see 3D Realms back in action. Next step...multiplayer.

Ion Fury is a great throwback to the classic FPS titles of the mid-90's. The arsenal of weapons is well-balanced and and have a good feel, and the enemies are tough but fair. The middle portion of the game is a bit too same-y in its environments, being mainly underground tunnels and caves; the game is at its best when exploring cityscapes and laboratories. Despite this, the level is design is mostly solid throughout and the soundtrack is constantly a highlight. Secrets are often well-hidden - sometimes *too* well - and the hardest to find can occasionally not feel worth the effort it takes to get to them (especially the "mega" secret in the first level, which basically requires more than a dozen perfect jumps and save-scumming in between to reach). The performance on Switch is solid but not perfect. Some small frame rate dips occur when too many enemies are on screen at once or when a scripted explosion occurs; the final boss in particular is quite rough in this regard. But I had no trouble completing the game and there are no hinderances to the Switch version to prevent recommending it.

This old school Duke Nukem-like shooter is as old school as you can get, but I say that in a very good way. Art style? Check. Gameplay? Check. Though I will say I preferred the original title they were going to use, "Ion Maiden." But I guess there's a certain band (one I love, especially the Dianno/Burr era) that had a problem with that name. Don't see how that could be a legal issue, dropping one letter. I actually printed a 2nd cover with that original title, 'cuz I guess I'm a old school metalhead/nerd, like. Great game. Get one if they're still available.

A rough, but good, throw back to Duke Nukem. Expert art with a retro feel. Challenging and fun.

This one wasn't really my cup of tea, but it was cool to have a female lead Doom/Duke Nukem style game

This game is great! If you grew up playing Doom or Duke Nukem, you will be right at home with this. Controls feel good, but I would recommend using a Pro Controller over motion controls. My one complaint is the limited menu options. I changed something by mistake and have no option or button to "revert to default". That's a pretty basic feature to be missing. Otherwise, this game will meet your FPS needs on Switch.

If you like the old school Doom games you will really enjoy this game! Grab it quick before it's too late! Limited Run Games only made 5,000 physical copies of this game! Highly recommend to any Doom fan or FPS (First Person Shooter) gamer!

Great game that reminds me of other great games like doom, wolfenstein, and duke nukem. This game is a little bit on the hard side, but for people who are fans of 90s shooters or a good challenge will enjoy this game

A Duke Nukem style game, brings be back to being 6 again. overall fun with a challenge. half the price with the twice the fun of a normal nintento switch game.

If you like Duke nuke em back in the day you will appreciate this game. It’s got plenty of action and difficulty yet fun at the same time. I wish this type of game had 4 player death match would make it even better.

Great stuff and a great deal for the price. If you are in the market for this kinda thing, you won't be disappointed. Well worth the money and great capabilities.

Wow. Awesome to see a new game with the old school FPS graphics of classics like Doom and Duke Nukem. If you are a fan of those FPS this is in your wheelhouse.

If you enjoy the old 3D Realms first person shooters of the past, you'll feel at home with this. Lots of fun and action.

Fun game, knew what I was getting and it was worth it. Anyone that like Duke Nukem games or games built in that engine. I would recommend this game.

I lover how Limited Run is preserving games on physical media. Ion Fury is a solid old school shooter thats great on Nintendo Switch.

If you’re a fan of Duke Nukem and Doom classic games, this game will be up your alley. Classic FPS shooting mechanics with puzzle platforming that keep you engage. Boss fights can be intense, but challenging to make the time worth it.

Great game, and I found it for a great price. Wasn't able to find it until I came to best buy so I'm glad I found it.

This game is a great throwback game to yesteryear. This game is fun if you want to just shoot everything.
