This cell phone car cradle is Wonderfull. It fits in CD holder solidly and it Charges the entire time..quick automatic release is very convenient. I bought three (3) for my children. It’s the best.. now I need one for my car!!!! $400 would Help to get me one too!

This is my second one as my 1st broke after 1.5 years (had to press the side button to open as the sensor failed, so it still worked...), but I loved the ease and convenience of this device so much, I thought I would buy another for my new/used car I just picked up. With the old iOttie/old car, I used the CD mount in the CD player and that was in a perfect location and worked flawlessly. With my new car, it needs to be attached to the car vent which does not keep it secure in my Mazda 6. I ended up using the CD mount from my old iOttie with the new (the old one is slightly different) and that one actually snags and hold perfectly in the Mazda's air vent, of all places. So I managed it to work for me, luckily.

Well we needed a stand in the car for the iPhone 12 max and the other ones want to stick to the dash or window. This one works with the air condition grill but we used a unique method - it uses the CD drive (if you have one) safely and snugly. The phone is in a good position flexible as to the angle and the mount is removable. I can't speak about the grill connect but it works. It also plugs int to the cigarette lighter and charges to phone without the wire to plug into it or out meaning the mount is a charger. It was on the expensive side.

I use the air vent mount because I’m a Doordasher and my iPhone tends to overheat with regular mounts, but with this my car a/c cools it down and the BONUS it’s a wireless Charger. Winning !

Makes life so much easier. Seems like a little thing but when you use it daily it’s excellent.

It's been almost exactly a year. I purchased 2 of these and they are both broken within 3 weeks of each other. The right arm on each of them is stuck open and does not auto retract anymore. I have always been careful with this product and it hasn't even lasted a year in either vehicle. I am pretty disappointed for the money I spent. Worked great before they broke. They still work, but I don't know for how much longer.

Bought this one for my mother.. only issue is she has to take off case to use the charging option.. well bc it has the pop sockot on it.. other than that its electric and opens and closes on its own.. i was even surprised by this lol.. cool feature!

First offhooked it all up , placed in air vent , the device kept opening and closing till i placed my phone in it . Upon placing phone in it it drooped really low and annoyingly low . Also supposed to charge i phone , i had no case on it , yet no charging of my I phone . I have an Iphone 15 pro Max .

I really liked this item but in less than two weeks one of the retracting arms had broken and no longer works.

Did not have it long and it’s messing up. Lost its grip to hold phone. Phone falls off every time. I only use now just to charge phone.

What a pile of crap product. Constant fighting the rig to stay in the vent, constantly falls. If i could return for a full refund i would. Last time it fell out literally 20 seconds after i pulled off the road to re secure it. When it fell the clamps broke my samsung S21 Ultra screen even with phone in its case and a tempered glass screen protector!

The motion-detection driven motorized phone mount works great. So convenient! Wireless charging when on the go keeps my phone fully charged. The vent mount doesn't work in my car, because of the shape of the vents. However, the CD mount works like a charm. It is rock solid and positions the phone right where I need it for easy access and viewability.

Installation is quick. I find a better fit w/o cell case. Keeps cell charged w/o wires everywhere. Stays in position when turning.

This is a game-changer for my car, phone, and safety experience! My friends are a bit freaked about it and they are buying them for their cars! It is motorized and starts with my car. All I need to do is place my phone over it and the jaws open to accept the phone and the case. The jaw motor shuts and locks the phone in AND my phone starts charging from the wireless charging system. Gone are the days of having to find the end of USB-C cable and plug it into the bottom of the phone, sometimes while I should be paying attention to the road! To release, you push one of two large buttons on either side of the mount (or both, that works too). The jaws open and you pull your phone out. It automatically resets to close the jaws (the upper black tabs) to protect the mount. The BEST car accessory I have ever purchased. For safety's sake alone I would recommend this. For those who need a charged phone for a busy life, and have a wireless charging phone, this is amazing. Other Notes * Very high quality and sturdy. I have no worries about anything 'snapping', as ruined my last holder. * Includes solid pieces for mounting in a CD slot or an air vent. Other attachments are possible as the manufacturer used a standard ball mount. * The motor moving the jaws in and out sounds secure with no rattling. * The bottom 'teeth' that hold the bottom of the phone in place can be moved up or down and screwed into the correct place to allow the wireless charging to be set up for your specific device. * Also includes a dual USB-A to 12V charger for plugging into the car's charging port. Provides two more ports for charging other devices. * The charging seems quite fast. * A rotating screw lock allows you to set this to any angle you need for best visibility or use.

The charger works great, as does the autosense. It holds the phone no matter the road conditions. But the vent holder and CD slot holder could be better. The vent holder flys off my Acura’s air vent constantly and the CD holder damaged my CD player. Yes I still use it. It should have a suction mount.

Very useful device that allows me to safely skip youtube ads while on the road while charging my phone and allowing aux cord connection. I do notice sometimes that the fan vent mount slips out of place but I blame California's terrible highways for that rather than the device itself. Although the device does come with a cd player mount so, that may be more stable but since I have cds I listen to, I haven't used it yet.

Product as described. Hasn’t slipped from the air vent at all. Charges my large iPhone 11 Pro Max. Definitely a better charge when I remove the phone case but that is because my case is a little bulky. Automatic arms are a nice addition so you’re not fumbling with the product and phone while trying to drive. You can easily stick the phone in front of it and feel the arms open...place your phone in and keep it moving. The product will hold it in place until you press the buttons on the back to release the phone. Great product.
